My wife and I had been recommended booking a table at this restaurant as it has wheelchair access and a disabled w/c something which can be difficult to find especially in an old city like Prague, access to the the restaurant was through a side door which enters corridor where all the supplies to the restaurant are delivered then out... We go out in Prague a lot and always try new restaurants, last night we have visited GC and we loved it. It's located a bit out of main streets and you need to walk a bit from nearest metro station but it's worthwhile a visit. Nice elegant decor, great service, very nice wine and food is DELICIOUS! I tried... More

I have visit Grand Cru for business lunch.we went for they weekly menu, and I must say I was impressed. The food was really good and very good value for money. The only small mistake was that they forgot to pour us wine we had opened. It is forgiven for now. They were very busy. I will certainly come back.... More

Langoustine ceviche of clementine, a few amuse bouches, then venison. Washed down with a Tissot Chardonnay - Les Gravierres in the Jura. Sensational. The wine list was stupendous ( as the wine bar is next door ) and it ll take an age if you choose from the French geographical classics. Book. Romantic.

I visited this restaurant within the "Grand Restaurant Festival" providing valuable vouchers for 3-course menu. Food and staff were impeccable and instead of thousand words, see my pictures. I was in Crand Cru Restaurant first time, but probably not last time.

Had New Years eve dinner at this restaurant. It was a set tasting menu for the evening, absolutely delicious, everything we had was amazing. Hats off to the chef, it was truly great. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to every Prague traveler.

One of the best dinners I've had for a while. They should deserve a star. Venison accompanied with Chateau Palmer 1983 stole my heart. Service, cuisine, wine pairings, everything deserves 5*.

Visited on business with several colleagues from surrounding countries. I have been to Prague more times than I can remember over the last 25 years so cannot understand how this restaurant has escaped me. From the moment you walk in the restaurant has the feeling of quality with staff to match. The tables are well spaced, so at no time... More

On our last evening in Prague, we decided to go to a fancy restaurant and selected Grand Cru based on the hotel recommendation. It is a very nice place, people are dressed smart casual to dressed up (no jacket needed for men, but wouldn't go there in shorts or jeans/sneakers). The service was swift, friendly and impeccable. The food presentation... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
