On our first night it Prague we went looking for somewhere nice to eat and this restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel. Excellent beautifully presented food of Michelin star quality and great service.

Truly one of the most amazing places I have ever been to. The service, atmosphere, and food were unbelievable. Every moment of the night we were well looked after and truly wined and dine. I cannot thank the amazing staff enough, they made the experience...of trying those amazing foods even better than it was. Every course was perfection - I have not stopped thinking about the Pistachio cheesecake since I devoured it. The most perfect birthday experience for my boyfriend I could have asked for and he was more than happy with the entire evening. From the top of my head (we were swooned by the staff’s recommendations) myself and my partner went for the Steak Tartar and Lobster Bisque (starters), Lamb Shoulder and the Czech Beef (main), and Chocolate pudding and the Pistachio cheesecake. We were also spoiled with complimentary fresh bread and homemade butters and a white chocolate mousse after the main before the desert. Thank you to all the staff for making the night so unbelievably magical, we have every intention of coming again the next time we come to Prague.More

Absolutely faultless experience. Some really sophisticated and well thought out dishes. I had the truffle steak tartare which was fantastic but I was extremely jealous of my wife’s lobster bisque which was a revelation. Waiting staff were so friendly and knowledgable, wine list comprehensive and...riddled with beauties and all for a fraction of the price if found in other European cities. Can’t recommend highly enough.More

Our last night in Prague and we consulted the ‘Guide Michelin’. Grand Cru came up as recommended by the inspectors and we booked a table. I do not know why this restaurant has not been granted a Michelin star. The food, service, ambience and overall...experience is amazing. A wonderful end to our holiday in Prague.More

This has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Prague. The food, service, and ambiance were all top-tier. I have absolutely no complaints, only praise for this fine establishment. My meal consisted of a lovely amuse bouche of shrimp and couscous to start, followed...by a fantastic Kulajda soup. This was my first time having this classic Czech soup and I absolutely fell in love. This was followed by the greatest Coq au Vin I’ve ever had the pleasure to taste. Dessert began with a mini crème brûlée followed by apricot dumplings, and again, absolutely delicious. I will be back the next time I’m in Prague!More

The best restaurant in every respect on our Michelin restaurant tour to Prague. The tasting menu from the first appetizer to the delicious dessert was superb. The dishes formed a harmonious growing arch by developing through simple flavors to an extraordinary dinner. Both main dishes,...fish and deer were balanced, innovative and respected the fine ingredients. The wine pairing completed the dishes with the right undertones. Service was both friendly, fluent and professional.More

This was an outstanding meal only let down by the response to a mistake with the menu. Otherwise would’ve been 5* but for a Michelin guide restaurant expected it to be picked up. So first, all the good bits. Lovely restaurant, very calm setting and...really enjoyable ambiance. Incredible bread and butter and amuse Bouche. We had the chicken (twice) and the sea bass and both were fantastic. Delicate flavours and pushing Michelin star quality cooking. Really really good. On dessert the cheesecake and the dumplings were both excellent. I ordered the chocolate mousse with strawberries and mint but it arrived with apricots (which I don’t like) and maple syrup. When it arrived I pointed out it wasn’t what I’d ordered but was told the menu had now changed. With the strawberries off the menu I left the apricot and ate the mousse, in an effort to avoid fuss. Seems despite the menu outside still saying strawberries that it had changed to apricots. The chocolate mousse was great but was still charged full price despite the error. This isn’t about the mistake, it’s about the management of the situation for a restaurant pushing for Michelin star. Felt like the manager was more frustrated with the error and the castigation of staff than fixing it for me, which could have just been knocking a few euros off the bill and recognising it. The plate went back with the apricots untouched so it was clear. Do that and I’d have left happy because mistakes happen. Alternatively come back at the end and just check everything is ok. On one level this is a tiny point but it’s important with food this good if the restaurant is to reach its potential.More

We arrived in Prague after cruising the Danube for the past week and we’re looking for a nice place for dinner with our friends. The concierge at our hotel suggested the Grand Cru and we absolutely loved the food and the service. Between the 6...of us we tried the venison, seafood, and pasta dishes and all were excellent. The wine list is fabulous with many choices to pair with the food served. Will definitely come back when in town again.More

This is a great restaurant. You walk in to a small courtyard, and then in to the restaurant. We were greeted quickly, and were offered a few tables. We chose one near the wine wall. We started our meal with some sparkling wine, and then...had a few appetizers. The scallops were perfect, shared by our table of four. We had the lamb, pasta, fish of the day, and the octopus. The octopus was incredible. They said it was poached for 23 hours, and then grilled! I wish I could duplicate that at home. We were so full from the good food, that we didn't have room left for dessert. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. Put it on your list!More

A very disappointing experience. We were looking forward to dinner, the menu looked very nice. We took the Menu dégustation. The dishes were not as good prepared as they could have been. For example the fois gras was low quality and the portions was tiny....In my opinion it is a wannabe French haute cuisine restaurant. The service was good.More
