We sat down at 7pm and the wait staff and front desk were real pros. I did the Grand tasting menu and wine pairings. My wife did the ala cart with wine pairings. This can be a long evening so buckle in. The dishes were...well executed with beautiful presentations. A couple of my sauces of dishes were a bit to sweet for me but that is my personal taste and not a knock on the kitchen. The food was really well done. The wine pairing were super with some great Czech wines and Austrian, Italian and French. The wait staff was very kind and not stuffy at all which really helps with multiple courses and wines. My wife had 3 ala cart dishes and matching wines. I must say I would go that route next time as you can order what you want as some people don't like everything. Her pasta dish tagliollini with a poached egg yoke and black truffles stole the show with a fantastic 2018 Cote du Rhone she ordered instead of the suggested white wine. Great value for the money. Left very happy.More

For the last night in Prague we chose Grand Cru and the seasonal tasting menu with wine pairing. A memorable evening ensued: fine food, elegant prèsentation, and great service in a lovely atmosphere. Of the four courses the first tow and the last were superb....The main dish of fallow deer was a bit tough. Overall, it was fine dining at its best and we would certainly recommend this welcoming restaurant.More

We wanted to have something that you can’t cook yourself. By reading reviews from TripAd. we found this nice restaurant just beside of our hotel. Food was excellent. Service was very friendly. Prices were a little high if you compare those in Prague generally, but...if you get finedining for two with wines for 4000 czt /160 €, it’s very cheap.More

As a first time Michelin star restaurant visitor, I had high expectations. First thing that struck me was the price. In my head, this was going to be a very expensive experience. Turned out to be very reasonably priced. The next thing about the experience...was the curtesy of the staff. They were ever so polite and friendly. On hand to answer questions and make recommendations. The service alone could have made me rate this restaurant 5 star. But then the food came. My friends and I went for the tasting menu and every meal was a gem. The paired wines were decent. I didn't feel for the red wine that came with the lamb shoulder (probably more a personal preference than anything else), but every other wine was good. I would definitely recommend this place.More

If I should describe the restaurant with just one word, it would be: Perfect! The interior, the atmosphere, the staff and not least the service and the food ... Perfect. We had a four courses seasonal meal with wine menu and we were extremely satisfied....I can only recommend this place!More

We went to Grand cru for our last night i prague. The restaurant is beautiful and the ambiance good. Unfortunately our food did not live up to our expectations. We first waited 30 minutes for the first glass of wine in our wine pairing menu,...then the waiter asked if i wanted an extra plate for one of our courses we wanted to share witch is a minor detail but important in a Michelin guide restaurant. Our first course was a local soup, very sweet for our taste but maybe that’s the way it should be . We then had scallops with caviar, both the scallops and the caviar eggs were very small compared to the one i know. We then had pan fried foie gras with some currant sauce on top served with ginger bread and a glass of Montbazillac . For the main course we had Lamb shoulder with sweet patato and a lamb reduction. I loved the reduction but all in all to much sweet for our pallets. I must admit we expected more from this place due to the recommendations on google reviews. We had many good experiences in other michelin guide restaurants in Prague but unfortunately this was not one of them. I would have liked better advice from the waiter as our menu of choice was very sweet . Being French i have some experience in French cuisine.More

Grand Cru elevates Czech cuisine to new levels with its inspired sauces and creative combinations of meat and vegetables. If you're so inclined, there are two tasting menus with wine pairings, but the à la carte menu also has available a pairing option that will...introduce you to new wines that you might not otherwise think to order. The service was also impeccable. Highly recommended.More
