A little Gem

We had an amazing meal here while in Prague for a few days! Its a little hard to find, we got lost looking for it the first night and gave up and went else where, but I'm so glad we found it the second night. For atone looking, if you are in Wenscelas Square, go down the left hand side... read more

All the dishes we ordered were tasty. The cheese based Masala Tika for the vegetarian and the ( very )spicy lamb for the carnivore were absolutely wonderful . If you are an indian food lover, this is the place to go.

Right behind the church of Tyn. Great service. Genuinely welcome spicy chicken vindaloo, daal tadka and vegetarian dishes for a cold numb evening.

Tucked behind Church of Tyn in The Old Town Square, this Indian Restaurant is just lovely. Charming ambience, very pleasant and friendly staff with relaxed surroundings and the food was really well presented and absolutely delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our evening - perfect after a long day of walking and sightseeing to enter the warmth and ambience of... More

Went to alot of Indian restaurants in Prague, but I probably would not call them indian restaurants after i ate there. Indian Jewel was a bit pricy but worth it.

This place has to get a five star review. The food and venue were beautiful! I opted for a Madras which was dark, deeply flavoured and full of texture - not meat in generic curry gravy like you get in poor restaurants. My girlfriend went for a Tikka Masala, which was lovely too, although a little sweet and mild for... More

The atmosphere and the service was quite nice. I would actually rate the food above average but not great. But I also have a friend with an Indian restaurant so I'm a bit picky. Overall, I'd say if you want some Indian food while you are in Prague, you won't be disappointed with Indian Jewel.

Delightful Indian restaurant, friendly informative staff, helped us with our food choices. The menu didn't seem to have the usual korma or dishes I recognised well, but we chose two beautiful dishes. The naan bread is amazing, freshly made.

My boyfriend and I went here for our anniversary and we weren't disappointed. This was some of the best curry i've ever eaten in my life. It wasn't at all greasy or too heavy, and the portion size was spot on. They served Czech wine which was really delicious and inexpensive and the service was lovely. It is a little... More

I came here after a recommendation from my sister who visited Prague a few years ago with high hopes for a lovely meal and I was not disappointed. The service was friendly and quick, the food was delicious with the perfect servings and best of all it's completely affordable when travelling. I would definitely go back!!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
