The most nutritious and tastiest Indian restaurant I have ever been to, having visited many other places in Prague. Management and entire staff are simply the epitome of excellence. You leave with the knowledge that you had way more than what you paid for, as they do not compromise any aspect of the service. Everyone on the team from ownership, through management, and all those in attendance to the customers are very professional and enthusiastic about providing a 5-star service. Really nothing more could be asked of Indian Jewel as it is a life time experience, and not just a restaurant, thank you for the amazing service you guys provide. I will never stop coming back

food was very tasty, and the waiters were very attentive and speak perfect english. had prawn masala, chicken madras and aloo gobi, all very good! sat outside in a nice setting, off street in a little square, nice location - only thing I didn't like was the body language and stare of the manager/owner type dude with the long white hair, who stood at the entrance for the entire time (gordon ramsey would have a field day with this guy).. nevertheless 5 points for me..

Just one street from heart of old town square, and in a little square of it own, this Indian restaurant gem stands is in the perfect location for locals and tourist... its not easy to find a good Indian in Prague but my experience with these guys was great! And we will be back for sure... They are also on Wolt so home deliveries 🥳 The staff were amazing, speaking both Czech and English and the waiter answered all of my questions about the food and the amazing sauces and how they were made... I love mint sauce and this one was exceptional 😝 you can see the from my photos that the food looks great and the presentation is also on point. We ordered way too much but worth every bite! 100% recommend to try this place if you are in the mood for a great curry 😇

We came here as a recommendation from a work colleague that visited as being on a business trip in Prague. We've been to our share of Indian restaurants in Prague and I think I can make a reasonable comparison. Food was good but no fireworks. The fact that rice and/or nan is at an additional price is a bit of a surprise as most Indian restaurants in Prague offer that to the main dish. The restaurant is centrally located hence caters more for tourist prices as normally a local would consider the restaurant a bit expensive for the food they offer. Compared to other Indians restaurants in Prague it definitely is but like I said guess the location also raises the price. Service was rather slow and not so much attentive even though when we visited the place was half full. They came to take the order quickly however taking the plates from our table though we were finished from quite some time that they were not very interested in. Our table cloth was dirty and stained when we sat down though the table was arranged to receive new people. I understand people stain the tablecloths but at least you can replace them before other customers sit in. It just gives you the impression of dirtiness. Overall our experience was not that great. The food was ok but definitely not worth the price. Service was slow and place looked dark and a bit dirty. Not something I would recommend.

An absolute classic! I went to this fine Indian restaurant after being impressed by their instagram pictures, and it was even better ! They made the spice level according to my preference, and even showed me the entire process of making their famous naan bread. Absolutely lip smacking food, would recommend their chicken tikka masala and rogan josh. Mango lassi is a must try as well. Hands down, It’s The best Indian food in Prague.

We've been to Indian Jewel a few times now, and have never been disappointed by the quality of the food, the wonderfully warm service, and the lovely location! The flavours are authentic, and the dishes are served in an incredibly tasteful manner. The menu is extensive (and you can't really go wrong)– we recommend the matar paneer, prawn pepper masala, as well as the jeera rice and garlic naan! And the excellent Indian wine (red & white) and Kingfisher beers if you're looking for a drink. 10/10 must try if you're in Prague!!

Outstanding food and very friendly and service-minded staff. Please consider supporting this place during what is a very difficult time for many restaurants. We recommend it highly not only as fantastic Indian food but also as a break from what is often a very “heavy” local cuisine (especially if you are a vegetarian and have grown tired of eating fried cheese).

Amazing service, delicious meals! People were so friendly. One of my friends had to leave for the train, they've made a dish in 10 minutes for him, that was really nice! Plus, they have a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes. They even changed the sauce for Samosa to make it eatable by my vegan friend. Very cute!

We found this restaurant randomly just walking by it and we were not disappointed at all. Staff is very VERY nice and polite, they helped us pick some traditional dishes (for the ones who are confused on what to order). Food was high quality, spicy for people who like very spicy food (that’s me), but there are also options for non-spicy and vegetarians. Waiting time for the food to get to the table was quite fast than expected. The prices of each meal is very good compared to what they serve you. Lots of food and we were all satisfied and FULL. I recommend this if you want to aim for a guaranteed good night with family and friends eating Indian cuisine. 💪🏻

We visited this place twice for dinner during our 4 day stay in Prague and were very satisfied with the food. The location is very central and is just a short walk from the old town. The interiors are very tastefully decorated and the service is really friendly and welcoming. All the staff members we encountered during our two visits were really nice. The food itself is quite tasty and flavorful with a good variety to choose from. It was a treat to eat freshly made tandoori rotis and parathas on a cold winter evening in Prague. The prices are quite reasonable as well. Very highly recommended for people looking for good Indian food in Prague.

We loved this restaurant. The food was delicious, and our server, whom we know from a previous restaurant, was very helpful and made the whole experience very enjoyable. My wife adored her Rogan josh, and my lamb dish was wonderfully tasty, too. We shall definitely return!

We tried Indian cuisine for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The waiters in this restaurant are very well known on the menu and according to our preferences helped us choose dishes that we really liked. Beautiful interior, the smell of spices that immerses you in the atmosphere of India. Definitely visit there again.

Excellent Indian food and more than excellent service! Dined late in the evening with kids and the service was excellent. Waiter quickly ordered starters to satisfy our tired and hungry kids and was helpful and serviceminded all the time we spent there. We sampled al lot of dishes from the vast choices on the menu and everything was extremely satisfying. I especially recommend the mango lassie to go with whatever dish you order!

It was the year 2019. I was vacationing doing Interrail around Europe and arrived in Prague with 10 other friends. During our stay in the city of Castles, one of my dearest friends kept insisting on us dining at what he called was the restaurant with “the best chicken korma he had ever had”. The second day in the city, while most of our group slept hungover from the night before, four of us decided we had to try that delicious restaurant we had heard miracles about. Half sceptic, half excited, we arrived at The Indian Jewel at around 14:00, and were greeted with a smile from the moment we entered its door. The restaurant had a decent attendance, but what stood out was that absolutely all of its guests seemed like they were Indian or from a similar region. That’s always a good insight when expecting “the best Indian food you’ll ever try”, in words of our friend. We ordered our Chicken Kormas and waited paitently while we chatted and joked about meaningless gen-Z-esque issues. The food arrived. I still to this date struggle to define what we all felt when trying our first bite of our dishes. It was love at first taste. The feeling was, simply, unexplicable-a sensation so overwhelming we didn’t speak to each other for the rest of the meal and stared at our faces of pleasure in pure desbelief. If you know me, you’ve heard the story so many times that it’s been baptised as the ‘Chicken Korma Prague love tale.’ Fastforward two and a half years and I’ve searched for a glimpse of the sweetness and perfect blend of spices of that Chicken Korma in uncountable Indian restaurants in Barcelona. None is similar. So when my girlfriend gifted me a one day trip to Prague, no hotel, no accomodation, I knew she was the one. I simply could not believe it. The tale would be repeated. The Chicken Korma reincounter was bound to take place. And I am proud to state that the taste and feeling has unexplicably remained UNTOUCHED. Such blend of flavours. Pure orgasm. But this time, the story defined its main protagonists, starting by Deepu, host of The Indian Jewel and probably the most grateful person I have ever met. We simply could not resist telling him we had travelled from Barcelona to Prague to go to his restaurant, to which he gifted us Typical Indian Craft beer and free dessert as a thank you, and we exchanged phone numbers. If you’re visiting Prague, going to The Indian Jewel is an absolute must. There is no castles without Prague. And there is no Prague without Chicken Korma.
