This was an absolutely fantastic traditional authentic Czech pub we chanced upon as we were wandering around the Holešovice neighbourhood in the Praha 7 district and what a great find.
A wonderful interior ,a spotlessly clean main room,a nice looking serving bar, great decor and...furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, it's a great pub to unwind in.
We were here on a Saturday evening, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, we luckily managed to get a table, we ordered a beer each and opted to have pilsner urquell beer while we checked out the menu, beers were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and as is the traditional in Prague with a big foamy head, for our meals I went for fried cheese and fries while my brother went for stuffed potatoes, after a short wait our meals arrived and what a treat.
My fried cheese meal was absolutely fantastic, ok I know it's not great for you but it is so tasty and goes with a beer so well ,my twin brother loved his meal and coupled with our delicious beers made for a wonderful dining experience in a great pub.
We really enjoyed our meal & beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit we were very impressed with Domazlicka Jizba.
Domazlicka Jizba is easy to locate, you can jump tram number 1.2.12.14.25 to tram stop Strossmayerovo Námestí, it's just near the magnificent Kostel Svatého Antonina Paduanskeho ( Church Of St Anthony Of Padua ) .
