We were in Prague for the week and were on one of our last nights. Thus far we had lovely dinners and service at all places. This place however was the worst experience. Out of the series of events here is what happened... They forgot to put in our order and we ended up sitting for an hour before they... More

Terrible food - with no imagination other than plopping food on the plate and served by arrogant staff. This review is one year old - I was so upset that this year trip to Prague... I went back just to find the name of the restaurant. (Again: Please understand - this is based on last years review).

Is a great place - not expected in Prague. the host has always great recommendations for wines and service a very nice food. Something different if you want something else than beer. Great location in the city and very nice price. Amazing experience

Super excellent dinner. The entrance area does not suggest the high standards of the cuisine. Don't be put off. Each course was beautifully prepared. Service attentive. nice price.

There was four of us on a business trip, coming across this nice looking restaurant. Looks can be deceiving: Swordfish was advertised outside, however not available, just a curt 'No' from the waiter; Food was below average; Waiter insisted that credit card payment was only possible in Euros rather than Czec Crowns, this is not true but a popular tourist... We stopped in here for lunch on a nice sunny day, and sat outside to enjoy the atmosphere, even though the street has some traffic. We ordered a salad that said it was supposed to be a mix of leafy greens, but it arrived and it was 90% iceberg lettuce (not a leafy green!) and had just a few sprigs... More

Went in and it looked lovely but the man serving was brusk and the menus were grubby and it had a really bad vibe to it. Not many people in there but the ones that were in were complaining about the bill and food. We walked before the evening took a downhill turn, i would avoid rather than risk it... More

Fantastic atmosphere, Italian and Italian revised Czeck cuisine, in the ancient "Black Star" Palazzo, with his emblem, first in the Prague history, which represent a Sign of "Good Luck" from the "Praga Magica", esoteric mystery of the former Capital of Holy Roman Emperor" Rudolf II, the "greatest art patron in the world" as his noted contemporary described him, who introduced... Found this little restaurant tucked away from the main area. Small and cosy although busy found us a table. Service a little slow but worth the wait. Food excellent. Cannot wait to return.

We went to this Italian on the spur of the moment as it was cold and we were all exhausted! The restaurant look very appealing and inviting from the outside. Unfortunately this does not follow inside. There was a cold atmosphere, and we were tucked away in the annex by the toilets, even though the restaurant was not busy. They... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
