This is an unpretentious old man pub in Mala Strana, full of old Czech regulars and a tv playing bad 80s music. The bartender cracked jokes and was chill, but.. the beer I got was not tasty at all and my favorite thing, the pickled...More

A great place. Straightforward, no pretentions, just decent food and drink served by a staff that go the extra mile and work really hard to do a good job. Excellent beer and food and very well priced. Enjoyed it very much. Thanks to all concerned,

This was right down the street from where I stayed, and suggested by our host as her husband's local pub. It's a bit of an intimidating place to walk into initially, service is definitely brisk and no BS (as 95% of service in Prag is),...More

Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most
beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled
underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the
Kings route taken by future kings on their way to
coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing
Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral.
Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque
medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch
