My wife and I were looking forward very much to the evening here for our 5th Anniversary dinner. Although the first drink (one beer one glass white wine) was quite nice, the awful service and food not being served ruined the evening. The waitress told...us to “hurry up and order” when we asked what she would recommend?!? The guy who I think was owner then told her he was docking her 1000czk (€40) from her tips for this incident and that she would be fired if it repeats. He didn’t prove to be much better and he told an Indian woman on the next table that if she wants fast food she should “go to Burger King and shut up” she asked why food had taken 1 hour… chef in kitchen didn’t even look up from texting on phone when order was delivered…. We left and went to a place that deserves customers since instead of nice food at atmosphere we received no food, mental service and basically wasted evening. Then, I received attacks on my credit card witch I used to make the booking, it’s taken plenty of effort for my bank to try and resolve. I haven’t used it since so I can only assume there are dodgy goings on here… AVOIDMore

In spite of the lovely, authentic Chinese bbq food, I can never return after having one of the moat horrible experiences ever. After waiting 74 minutes for out main course, completely incorrect food finally arrived. When I complained, the 'owner' was hostile and without any...apology he asked both my friend and I to leave without paying. Furthermore, he wrongly accused me of being drunk. If you don't mind awful service and the risk of terrible abuse, visit this restaurant. If you want food service and empathy, never ever set food inside this establishment.More

Kind staff and lovely atmosphere. The place is a bit pricy and they charge separately for rice and tap water. The food is tasty although a bit bland so it’s bit underwhelming for what you pay

The waiter was very rude. Bad experience. He actually managed to spoil our evening. The food was ok. But frustration is obviously part of the atmosphere in this restaurant. Also the waitress looked stressed. She had to do all the work by herselve. I would...say: hire more people so they can enjoy their work and be nice to your custumors. If you can’t do that, why not stop today?More

This restaurant seems to be quite a popular one, but I don't really understand why. The service was average (they made some mistakes with our order and at the end they were rushing us to leave because they wanted to close), the food was quite...salty and not particularly tasty and the prices are higher than standard. Nothing was really bad, but with so many other options in the neighborhood, I would try another place.More

The restaurant has a great selection of Asian dishes. I would not say that it is purely a Dim Sum restaurant since it has influences from Thai and other Asian cuisines. We did have dumplings, spring rolls and gyoza for starters and they were excellent....Service was good but a little slow hence the 4 stars.More

HongKong Karlín is very lovely place with amazing food. I've been there already three times and never disappointed. Very tasty, great combinations, all was just perfect. We like the concept, we appreciate the staff but the most important was the food itself. The duck, prawns...or duck salad, simply perfect. We are definitely coming back soon and I would recommend, as it is worthy your visit.More

Found this restaurant while wondering the side streets of Karlin. It deserves a lot more prominence. It’s a funky modern styled place with great service and even better food. We had two types of dim sum which were outstanding. Even better we’re the mains. A...panang seafood curry and wok style duck were both excellent and left me wanting to taste more dishes despite feeling full. Worth a visit.More

Chinese proverb says that inside catastrophe there is always an opportunity. 17 years ago this place was two meters under water. Karlin flourished sfter this and today it a modern and nice part of the city. Literally few steps from a pedestrian tunnell unde the...hill Vitkov (famous in Hussit wars) and slightly more but still few meters from subway station Krizikova one can find this Asian restaurant. Simple industrial building, stripped to bare walls, solid wooden tables and chairs, open kitchen and a very good meals. We tasted Gyozi and Dim sum dumplings, great shrimps (extremely juicy and tasty), boiled fish, Sichuan fragrant & spicy broth with prawns and duck, as a main dish we shared seafood Phanaeng curry (salmon, large shrimp, calamari, baby octopuses), beef cheeks curry in a large marrow bone (surprising and pleasant taste), deep fried shrimps with chilli mayonnaise, Spicy an crisp pork belly special, braised duck, very good papaya and mango salad and excellent spicy cucumber salas. After that and few Czech Pilsner Urquell beers (I am a wine lover, but to spicy Asian I prefer Czech beer) we shared only one dessert - Mochi peanut sticky dumplings with thai basil, very interesting. The meals were reasonably large and hot to our taste. The service was friendly, slightly less experienced in answering quetions of the kind what-is-this-made-of . We enjoeyd the evening and paid 25 EUro per head incl. tips. Recommended.More

Went here for dinner and left very satisfied. We ordered two different dumplings and both were very nice, they are a little bigger (more stuffed) than expected but had a nice taste. We then had one prok meal and one noodle meal. Both were very...good and we were happy with our meals. I'd say that the restaurant is better than average and is a nice addition to the Prague asian food scene. The place itself is really nice and comfortable and makes for a pleasant atmosphere. I was quite impressed as I thought it was smaller, but this is a good place for couples and friends and also for larger groups (large table available). One note of caution, some tables are directly under the air vents and so there was quite a lot of air blowing directly on us, but it wasn't a problem as the table next to us was free so we just changed spots. The service only added to the atmosphere as the waitress was really nice and friendly, and food was served to us within a very reasonable amount of time. There are some really great restaurants around town now and while I wouldn't rank tis one near the top, we were really happy with our experience and enjoyed the meal. The prices are reasonable and the portions are also very decent. I will definitely come back here to try out some other meals on the menu.More

New fancy/modern spot - A great place to try Cantonese food if you're curious. The chef seems to be an enthusiast and the food reflects it. Though it's not as authentic as one would expect. More like fancy Cantonese food for western audience. Prices seem...a bit high. 3 dim sum pieces for 5 bucks is a bit much. The duck and roast pork are tasty for a hefty price. The place itself feels very contemporary and neat. As someone who grew up eating Cantonese food (love you grandma) I have to say though, that neatness together with higher prices makes it hard for me to relate to what is essentially affordable comfort food back home. Well, at least the hanging ducks feel nostalgic.More
