Been here a few years ago for the first time and now went back again for a friends birthday. Always amazing food and wine. Friendly atmosphere. Great service. This time (we went there twice in three days) we were served by a lovely young lady...(pity I didn't get her name) and absolutely lovely and friendly guy Rahat. Thank you for making our time so comfortable and for coping with our jokes and constant laughter. We will be surely back!More

Felt very unwelcome right from the start. Didn't get much explanation and answers to our questions from the staff regarding the available dishes, which is a shame. Better communication skills or interest in the costumer from the staff's part could have saved a bad experience...for us and a bad review for the place. Ordered a dish described as "fresh herbs" in the menu, near some pics of nice looking salads. What came was some whole chives, whole branches of cilantro, tarragon, whole spring onions and whole green chilies. That's it, they didn't even bother to dry the water from the leaves, not to mention applying any seasoning or at least cutting it into a size that would fit a human mouth (not a cow). That is not a salad. That is lazily served veggies for way too much money, and that should come with a clear description either in the menu or from the waiter, since not all patrons are aware of Georgian or Russian culinary traditions (which we have great respect for, that why we booked the place). The main courses were as bad and lazy. We both had the big skewers, I had a beef one and my spouse the veggies. Both were bland, no seasoning whatsoever. The meat was slightly overcooked. The veggie skewer was beyond weird for us westerners - a full sized eggplant, a few full-sized tomatoes, a full-sized bell pepper. The only relief were the two mushrooms. The mains came dry, no sauces on the side contrary to what's stated in the menu. We also had a side of American potatoes, which we end up both taking our only comfort from, until we stumble upon a hair that didn't belong to any of us. When we brought it to the waiter's attention, all he had to say was ''OK'', off he went with the plate, which we ended up paying for. All in all - poor service, bland & lazy food, low level of cleanliness, and very very expensive. Stay away, there are much better places worthy of your money and time around the city.More

The atmosphere is dark, old Middle Eastern style, large portions as it should be, not reconciled with whims, but medieval roots.

Excellent Georgian food. I have eaten all over the world and this was one of the best meals I ever had. The pear juice in particular was delightful

Delicious Georgian food. Reasonably priced. Very popular with Russians, I believe. Attentive staff. Away from crowded tourist area but not at all far away. Good break from Heavier Czech food but by no means lean cooking.

I don’ recommend. The food isn’t good and the table was full of dust. I could not use the plate. And it was the most expensive restaurant in town.

This restaurant is definitely a favorite of our group. The atmosphere is outstanding with a medieval style brick interior and animal skins draped across the stairway railing. If you can get it, the table downstairs in the back, in an alcove, is the best. The...food is excellent, and the wait staff are attentive and professional. Tonight we had the tolma (stuffed grape leaves with pork and beef meat), solenje (selection of pickled vegetables), the chacapuri imeruli (bread with melted imeruli cheese) and adzaruli (bread filled with raw egg, melted cheese and butter), badrizani (eggplant walnut rolls with pomegranate seeds), pchali (chopped and minced spinach, walnuts, pomegranate and Georgian spices. We were so full, we didn't eat much else, but did have to order the chincali (we ordered three types) dumplings stuffed with lamb, cheese and beef),because it's a favorite. And we also ordered lamb shishkebab. The presentation is beautiful and the food is both plentiful and filling. We skipped public transport and walked back to our lodging. We will be back again next time we are here!More

We went here twice during our 9-day Prague stay. The first time I would say it was excellent and the second time I would say fair. Their servers try hard but seem very inexperienced. The lamb on the grill was amazing the first time but...too fatty the second. Suggest getting Georgian pizza. Cool place. You feel like you are in a cave.More

When you walk into a restaurant, without a reservation, and ask if they have room for your party of 10, you expect at least a pause if not an immediate “no” (I guess here it would be “ne”!). That did NOT happen; the young lady...simply said “give me 2 seconds to set up some table!” This led to amazing food, in LARGE portions. Special thanks so much to the young waiter who stopped my wife & I from ordering twice as much as we would ever be able to eat! We drank Georgian beer & wine, we tried the P’uri (bread … like naan) and shared an order of Ojakhuri - pork with potatoes, onion, garlic, tomatoes, bell peppers & spices. It was SO much food we couldn’t quite finish all the potatoes and tasted VERY good. Without realizing it, we also ate very cheaply … about $30 for all that! They also had lots of other choices, including huge skewers of meet cooked over the open fire at the end of the room. The ambiance was awesome, the placemats had everything from a map of Georgia to common Georgian phrases, to the WiFi password (which helped because you get to the menu and the 21 pg drink menu via a QR code)! Finally, the service was exceptional and there was even live music too. They even made it simple for 5 couples to split the check — not everyone likes to or will do that; just like when we walked in, they said YES! Strongly recommend!!!More

To be honest I didn’t look for vegan. I’m sure they have some though. Everything we ordered had some sort of animal by product though.

Yes, the me u had at least three languages explaining each item. The English is hidden between the Czech and the Russian, but it is there. The waitstaff also spoke English.
