Whenever in Prague we always go for a sweet treat or two to Cukrar, which is located close to namesti republiky, The place is very bright and you can see the pastry chefs at work, putting much effort into the desserts you might soon place...into your mouth. They have a wide variety of original Czech desserts, some revisited and improved and some creations. Cakes and desserts are always very good and fairly priced.More

In the centre of Prague is this extraordinary tasty patisserie. Everything is homemade, including the ice cream. The traditional Czech cakes, tarts and pastries are made in a very haute cuisine way with a twist of own taste of Mr Skála. The result is extraordinarily...tasty and very nicely presented. Certainly recommended. You can sit also outside.More

We stopped here for a quick break, while walking around the city centre. We enjoyed a glass of white wine and some snacks. They have a wide variety of snacks and healthy foods, home made

Everything looked great. They even have traditional czech cakes just in a modern design - laskonka, spicka, puncak... But, in my eyes, it’s always about the pistachio ice cream. And this one was fantastic!! Very excited to have found a source of naughtiness in Prague

This is a departure from classic Czech sweets shop. Note flying red animals above the walkway. Open concept is a great idea. Innovative pieces. Quick service. Prices way too high for a delicious carb load.

At this lovely street with a red reindeers flying you can find a little bakery with really tasty pastries. The price is for the city centre really fine and the quality is for the price amazing. You can see how they are making the cakes...in front of you and the selection is really good. You can have an ice cream here too, which I had and I can say it was really good! Of course the price of the ice cream was high, but only because of the locality. Still, the taste was amazing. I recommend.More

Despite not generally having a sweet tooth, we ended coming here on 3 days for coffee and cake since the desserts were so good. The desserts feel quite familiar to those found in French patisseries (though I imagine they are based off local flavours/desserts). The...desserts are generally around £3 each, decorated excellently and taste delicious with a substantial variety to choose from. Over the days we had around 10 different desserts and licked the plate clean with every one - I hesitate to pick out a favourite as they are generally all brilliant and you can't go wrong with any of them. On a separate counter they also served some of the open faced sandwiches. These were lacklustre compared to the desserts.More

It's an interesting dessert place, more industrial style interior that doesn't usually go with dessert shops, but I guess it's sort of trendy. Normally I don't like the dessert shops where the offerings look very colorful, pretty, and shiny as the taste usually doesn't match...the look. Not so here! We took a selection of desserts and couldn't come to a consensus which was best since all of them were so good. Highly recommendMore

Great variations on typical Czech desserts and many more. Good service and nice interior. Very reasonable prices for the quality of the desserts.
