My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around the Nove Mesto district when we decided to drop into one of our favourite pubs in this area namely Hostomicka Nalevarna . I love the look of this pub ,the interior is superb,it's cosy ,great...decor and furnishings ,an eye catching serving bar and plenty of seating options,it's just a great pub to unwind in. We were here on a Thursday night and this pub was packed with a great vibe ,we luckily managed to get a table were we ordered beers from the Hostomice Brewery ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and with the distinctive foamy head so characteristic of the way Czech beers are poured and served . My beer was really good ,a light ,hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste ,very easy to drink,a beer style both myself and my twinny are particularly fond off,it was just so good being in such a great pub enjoying a quality beer. These are the type of pubs I love ,Prague is packed with pubs like this ,it's what's been bringing me back to this beautiful Bohemian city for close to 30 years . We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Hostomicka Nalevarna is easy to locate along Soukenicka . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,2pm till 11pm. A great pub,well worth checking out if you're in the area.More

Pivovarská Nalévárna on Soukenická is an excellent local pub in Nové Město that has a fantastic range of well priced beer's that are from the Hostomice brewery. This pub is as local as it get's and was one of two pubs we visited on this...street.A very local pub with a well kept interior with lot's of interesting features and throughout the whole pubs interior superb seating options and nice staff. There was a great atmosphere on our visit to here and it was rammed in here which is how I like pub's.We didn't bother in getting a table we just ordered a few pints of beer which were perfectly served and really well priced and took in the atmosphere. This is a cracking local pub that offers very good beers and is well worth visiting and is very easy to find from Dlouhá Třída tram or bus stop its a minute's walk.(This is my first review of Pivovarská Nalévárna). I spent an absolutely wonderful afternoon here recently when I was in Prague for a conference and catching up with old friends who still live in the city. This is a small, like 5 tables small, urban boozer that sells beer only from Pivovar Hostomice,...and had 3 taps if I remember rightly. Every beer was magnificent, the service just what I want from central European service - none of your "my name is Jenny and I'll be serving you today" nonsense, and the atmosphere perfectly laid back. If you're in Prague to be a tourist avoid this place like the plague, if you want to enjoy a proper Czech boozer in all its glory, it is perfect.More
