I haven't been in Garuda for almost 2 years. However, this time the food was bland, watery, tasteless. Also, past 9.30 pm you are indirectly made to believe, they want to close and go home.

Excellent indonesian restaurant at pleasant location, pleasantly decorated, good service, generous portions, very tasty food and wide variety of drinks. I hope to return soon!

We've found this place out of sheer luck while looking for lunch and we have been coming ever since every week. For anybody who lives in Prague for a few years now they know that the lunch prices have gone up but the portions and...the quality not that much or none at all. The place offers a free soup ( either meat or veggie) if you take a main dish. The bowl is small but sufficient to get your appetite going. The main dishes have a vegetarian option, one fish option and a few meat options to chose from. Main dishes are from 129 to 159 if my memory is right which added with a soup makes it a really good deal for lunch. The main dishes are quite big and what I like is that they bring you the rice in a separate bowl and not in the plate mixed with the sauce. They have good coffee and some other interesting drinks choice even a very good bio tea and some indonesian drinks you can pick from. Service is friendly, fast for both food and drinks and you never have to wait too much for the main dish to arrive. Place is also nicely decorated and I would recommend going in the back of the restaurant as it feels more cosy and also has an interior court view. Overall a very good place for lunch with decent prices, good food and overall good service.More

Food was a bit pricey but good quality. Food was verified halal by staffs. We had nasi goreng, soto ayam and sapi rendang and it gives flavours of home.

We were not acquainted with Indonesian cuisine, but we have started to like it very much and become repeated guests. I especially like the beautiful decoration on both floors (café and restaurant).

...for a lunch. Lunch menu was always very tasty and the price was reasonable. Small bowl of daily soup for free. Nice sorroundings, good service. Will for sure come again

Well, the first 3 visits to this restaurant were lovely. The food was delicious and I did not mind the price either because the quality was amazing. I don't know what happened after that but we went there as a family for a special lunch...and the meat was hard and not well cooked. My meal was ok but full of coconut milk and no ingredients in it. I used to love this restaurant and today I went by, so I decided that I will give it a try once more. I was disappointed again, unfortunately. My meal had frozen corn in it (definitely not fresh one - it was almost frozen inside but outside it was warm), 5 pieces of a pea, 4 pieces of carrot and tons of tofu and tempeh. They said on the menu that this is a lunch menu for a lunch price but when I got the receipt they charged me extra for rice even though on the menu it said tofu with rice (as one price). So, I am very sad to say this but I am disappointed...especially about the quality and servings. If the food would be delicious I would not mind a small portion but it was rather ordinary.More

Wonderful taste of Indonesia ! We passed a very good evening for our wedding’s birthday. All was perfect for a very good price. I recommand this restaurant in Prague

Had some of the best food I’ve had in a while here, the beef and rice dish, as well as the chicken and rice dish are to die for. Jasmine rice was cooked perfectly. Starters of meat samosas and chicken satay were delicious too!

Family of three had dinner there last night. Was well rated on trip advisor. Disappointed. Wait staff brusque not welcoming. Venue loud at times felt like I was in a sports arena. Wife’s dinner to salty to eat. My rice was woefully undercooked—like chomping on...uncooked Uncle Ben’s. Dinner portions were small. Daughter was still hungry. Cost of dinner over $76. Would definitely NOT recommend this restaurant.More

If you are looking for an Asian food at a nice place then this is a perfect choice. Prague is full of Vietnamese and Thai but this restaurant cooks Indonesian and offers great alternative to these. Beside the main dishes we were amazed by their...drinks.More
