Žìžkov Na Žìžkov on Chelčìckého is a really good restaurant and pub that offers a fine food and drink's range and was one of the bars and restaurants we visited on our ten day holiday in Prague.This is a really good restaurant and bar and one we've been to several times over the years
It has a pristine well kept interior with really nice decor and nice furnishings and lots of good seating options throughout it's whole interior and was a joy to visit.We went here early in the afternoon and it was very busy which is how we like places to be as there's a much better atmosphere.
When we visited here we had a few glasses of Pivovar Moravský beer's which were first rate and where really well priced.This is an excellent restaurant and pub and its worth visiting if your in this area and is so easy to find from the Lipanská tram stop it's only a few minute's walk.(This is my second review of Žìžkov Na Žìžkov).

As the snow fell heavily my twin brother Stephen and I were pub and bar hopping around the wonderful Zizkov Distict when we decided to drop into Zizkov Na Zizkov ,a great tavern that I always look forward to visiting on any holiday I take to this beautiful Bohemian city.
I love the look of this tavern ,interior is superb ,multi roomed ,great decor and furnishings ,a cool looking serving bar and lots of seating options ,it's just a great place to unwind in.
We were greeted with a smile by a very pleasant member of staff ,we ordered beers from Permon Brewery ,these beers were served in tip top condition ,as we were sipping our beers we ordered a meal each ,we opted to have five dumplings with eggs and bacon each ,after a short wait and our meals arrived and what a treat .
The meal was really good ,beautifully prepared ,a huge portion ,so tasty ,very filling ,it was just what we needed to set us up for the night ahead ,coupled with our delicious beers made for a great dining experience in a fantastic tavern.
We really enjoyed our meal and beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Zizkov Na Zizkov is easy to locate along Chelcickeho.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Saturday,midday till 11pm.
Sunday,midday till 10pm.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Žìžkov Na Žìžkově on Chelčìckého was one of the many pubs/bars and restaurants we went to in the Žìžkov area of Prague on our last full day in Prague.
Located in a fantastic area were there are many places to visit'this superb restaurant and pub has a traditional look with superb decor and furnishings and brilliant fixtures and features throughout the whole interior and superb seating options.
We had already visited some brilliant pubs and restaurants and this one was as good as all the other's we visited.As we had only just had a meal we decided to have a beer in this superb restaurant and pub.
When we visited Žìžkov Na Žìžkově we had a brilliant beer from the Moravský brewery a superb beer which were perfectly served and well priced.This is a superb place for a meal or a few beers and is well worth a visit and easy to find from Lipanská tram stop it is a short walk.(This is my first review of the Žìžkov Na Žìžkově restaurant and pub).

It is very nice restaurant with large offer of local beers a reasonable choice of meals. We were 5 person, had no reservation, but got nice table and have enjoyed the evening there.

After reading the previous review and as we were staying in Zizkov we decided to visit this charming restaurant. From the service to the food everything was excellent. We ordered authentic Czech cuisine dishes that were succulent. Great wine, great beer, great food, great price....what else can you ask for!

Zizkov Na Zizkove was a fantastic restaurant and bar we found as my twin brother Stephen and I were wandering around this part of Zizkov and what a great find.
Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, the interior is superb,a light and airy interior, lovely furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and decorated tastefully throughout, theres also plenty of seating options spread throughout Zizkov Na Zizkove ,it really is a superb restaurant and bar, one I am so glad we found.
We arrived here shortly after opening time so we were about the first customers of the day ,greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, we chose one of their own beers from Pivovar Moravsky ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and as is the norm in Prague with a big foamy head, we just chilled out and took in the great restaurant and bar we were in.
My beer was exceptional, a light,hoppy and unpretentious beer bursting with taste,very easy to drink,a beer style I really enjoy, we soon finished off our first beers and decided to have another drink each,i opted to have a becherovka while my brother went for a peppermint liqueur ,both these liqueurs were superb, it was a great way to finish off our visit to this absolutely fantastic restaurant and bar.
Zizkov Na Zizkove is easy to locate on a street called Chelcickeho in the eclectic Zizkov district.

Sunday, 11am till 10 pm.
A great restaurant and bar ,well worth a visit if your in the area.

The excellent reviews and proximity to the hotel encouraged us to enter. The place is nice, typical and the waitress very kind. The cuisine, however, did not particularly impress us. Not bad but we've found better these days.
