We came in October 2021 for my birthday - the food was incredible, all incredibly interesting and very delicious. All the staff were a delight and clearly very passionate but a particular shout out to the very charming sommelier who made the evening for us...with his insights on the wine and how they were selected for each dish. A highly recommended dining experience.More

This restaurant is for those that truly appreciate an imaginative & unusual food experience. Amazing flavours & inventive presentation. Although we thought 18 courses might be overwhelming the portions are small so we didn’t feel uncomfortably full at the end. Wine pairing offered some interesting...wines. Ambience was classy & calm. We appreciated the chef taking the time to chat at each table & describe the courses. Not a cheap option in Prague but definitely impressiveMore

This is the worst restaurant I have ever seen... This facility is under the basement and small worst atmosphere.. And the food was awful and not delicious the size of the things was even it's awful was the microscopic size.. And of course, the delicious...thing is the bill🚀 before you make a reservation then they took a considerable amount of money. You thought you will pay a little more later on... In the end, you ate nothing in that worst restaurant in the world than you pay plus 400 € more even though you paid 150 € at the beginning... I have never seen that kind of penetration before... Could you believe also the the restaurant has a Michelin star 🥶😱 I thought they took the Michelin star for their bills at the end... Everything was a disaster!!!!!More

Thanks Chef Chu for curating a great experience - filled with delicious and creative takes on Czech and Asian flavor combinations. I’ve done many pre-fixes dinners around the world and this rated as one of the best both in terms of taste and in terms...of value. The restaurant was very intimate; there were three other couples and a solo diner at the same time as our sitting at 7pm. Service was personal, with either Chef Chu or our server personally explaining the origins and preparation of each Dish we were about to experience. We didn’t take advantage of the wine pairing – but we ordered cocktails and found them to be well-made and tasty. In terms of the meal – we did the mystery (15 courses?) - memorable courses included the Wagyu + bone marrow, the Sturgeon (very sweet), Wagyu tongue (soft!), the Foie Gras (who doesn’t like foie gras?) and the Caviar ice cream + coffee (sumptuous). I would absolutely come here again next time I am in Prague! And for ~$150pp - really exceptional value!More

We were hoping for a great meal in a beautiful setting. We were aware of the price in advance. What we got was OK food, mediocre wine selection (unless you wanted to spend >10,000 CZK for a bottle) in a not-very-nice setting. (Web photo does...NOT correspond to reality!) When combined with the VERY impressive price, the result is highly disappointing. The evening would have been acceptable if the price level was max 40% of what they actually charge. Now, it was a NO WAY. Somehow, the impression was a "wannabe" that falls flat well short of the goal.More

It’s a mixed bag. The food is not bad. However, the service was awkward and the mildew-smelling napkins were not helping. FOOD 18 courses. Keep in mind each course is 1-3 bites at most. That said at the end of the day you won’t be...hungry. You won’t be stuffed but you won’t be hungry. It adds up. Pairing it with wine will get you buzzed. Overall the food is not bad. Is it the best food you’ve ever tasted?…no. But it’s about the presentation and the presentation is very very nice. SERVICE This is where we start taking points away. The chef was around the entire time and he’s quite awkward. When we tried to engage with him about his own restaurant and the food it was sort of awkward and like pulling teeth. We were just trying to be nice and ask about what he built but it was like he wanted to just serve the food and not talk. The waiters were also nice but bit awkward. Overall, it didn’t feel like a super high-end experience when it comes to the service. Now…you can argue that it’s all subjective and that what we took as awkward was fine for others, but there were 4 of us from 3 countries and 3 different cultures and we all felt the awkwardness on some level. On top of that, what really ruined things were the napkins that smelled like mildew (the ones to place on your lap as well as the moist towels they kept providing us after some courses). The smell was so strong that it would overpower the smell of the food all the way from your lap. I wanted to gag at one point. We had to discard it altogether and our hands smelled of old mildew the entire night…despite how much soap or sanitizer we used. I must stress this because this wasn't like we needed to bury our noses in the towels. This was akin to leaving a wet towel in a dark damp place for a few days type smell. It was truly overpowering. This is extremely unacceptable when you spend $1000+ USD on dinner because I can spend $100 or less at pretty much any restaurant and not leave stinking like mildew. RESTAURANT The place is very small but nice. Probably like 5 or so tables. Sounds of nature in the speakers and it’s a clean and neat environment. CONCLUSION I feel a tiny bit guilty here giving this a low score because the chef clearly tries, but at a $1k USD price point, it’s not just about the food. It’s also about fresh-smelling napkins, friendly and warm service, and a memorable experience. If the dinner was $200 then sure…we can overlook a few things. But for a meal that’s on par with the average monthly income in Czech, we need to draw some lines and keep standards high.More

Excellent service and some truly incredible food. Best dessert ever: brown butter ice cream on bed of toasted pumpkin seeds, topped with caviar and served with Vietnamese coffee and Japanese plum jelly. Truly incredible. Had Acqua Mystery meal. Perfectly sized portions. Had a wonderful time!

Never ever have i had such an amazing waiter/sommelier at my table and as a host he made the evening to what it was; a feast! The dishes are amazing, as was the wine pairing. The latter one is steep pricewise but for that you...get some pretty amazing wines......The food prepared to perfection are taking you through the concept of Levitate and this experience will stay with you for a long long time......THANK YOU!More

We had dinner on Levitate this friday, and I must say, it has been the best experience I ever had dining in Prague. The interior is beautifully designed in a way that both your eyes and ears will make you feel like you are in...touch with nature while sitting there. The staff is nothing short of amazing. The service level here is the same as that i see in 2-star Michelin restaurants - they are very polite, very explaining in regards to their absolutely amazing dishes, and their beautiful wines. All tables get a chance to talk to the head chef, to get a chance to get some more in depth knowledge about the thoughts of each dish - I really liked that. Also their sommelier, who was able to do a perfect match for each course, switched in a second from english to french, to talk to the couple sitting at the table next to ours. It was easy to see that it made them feel right at home being able to talk in their native language. The food itself is so beautiful, it's very easy to see that nothing is left to chance. The flavors were astonishing and plentiful. All in all, this is undoubtedly a must visit if you get the chance to do so. I know for sure that I will be coming back to this place on my next travel to Prague.More

How to describe our night at Levitate... From the first to the last of the 15 courses you’ll be transported. The food is awesome, with a lot of surprising associations. The service is like a partition played at perfection, with serenity. The chef will often...come to your table, serving special dishes or just to get sure that everything is going well. All of this in a beautiful space with vegetal walls, asian inspiration, and forest sonor atmosphere... It was a tasty, touching, amazing experience. Definitely worth the price.More
