My boyfriend & I came here for dinner, great choice of food on the menu with plenty of variety. The service was a bit slow at the beginning after about 15 minutes of waiting for our drinks order to be taken we waved the waiter over, he took our order and drinks came out quite quickly after that, same with our food so service got a bit better. Would definitely recommend here for dinner, price was very reasonable. We had 2 alcoholic drinks each, plus starters each and mains each and the total bill came to about £60! And the food was delicious!

Went for dinner (2 people, 3 courses + beers) Beef carpaccio was great, Beetroot vegetal tartare was ok but lacking a little flavour. Grilled beef fillet (mid/rare) a huge chunk of fillet and cooked perfectly (and I'm hard to please you don't get anything this good in UK for £16). Beef sirloin with cream sauce, a popular local dish with whipped cream, a strange combo but seemed to work fine, but still strange - when in Prague!.......Picked 2 fancy desserts from the pretty display, couldn't really decide so at the end of the meal I bought another 2 back to the hotel for later. Great value for the quality, £65 including extra desserts, £80 (2300czk) with tip. Service was not included on the bill but they do discretely calculate tips at 10%, 15%, 20% for your convenience.

The first time we walked past here, and saw the tempting array of cakes in the window, we knew we’d end up going inside to sample! Sure enough, the next afternoon, we were back. All I can say is that the cakes were absolutely scrumptious and tasted even better than they looked which is rarely the case. I can’t count the number of times that I’ve seen gorgeous cakes in shop windows and eagerly anticipated taking my first bite only for my taste buds to be disappointed.
Loose leaf tea, served with boiling water in a proper tea pot, ensured that I had a perfect cup of tea with my sweet treat whilst my friend enjoyed a latte which, she said, was piping hot too.
There’s definitely room for improvement with service though. We spoke to the people on the next table who came in just after us and they waited fifty minutes for their order to be forgotten. They were then served the wrong order before the correct order was brought in dribs and drabs. I didn’t feel that the waiting staff were particularly welcoming and they gave the impression of rushing but, there again, the place was busy. Prices aren’t particularly cheap but I always think that you get what you pay for and the quality here was superb. We were happy enough with our bill and actually made a return visit the following day. If service was improved, this place would be unbeatable in its category.

Terrible service, rude waiting staff, took orders from tables of locals sat after us despite us sitting with closed menus making eye contact with them. Ordered cappuccino and got a latte, ordered a raspberry lemonade that had the faintest taste of raspberry and had a lot of pulp leaving a scummy substance on the inside of the glass. Ordered croque monsieur and fries with truffle oil and Parmesan. croque monsieur was very unappetising, béchamel sauce tasted pasty and sickening visually looked very bland and not something you’d expect to have at a place like this, fries are something you’d expect not to get wrong but they tasted like cheap oven chips with very little truffle oil and a light dusting of tasteless Parmesan. We had ordered one of their visually pleasing desserts but cancelled it and paid at the door on the way out otherwise who knows how long we would have been left to wait for our bill to arrive from the unprofessional waiting staff.

The service was so slow, it took them 30 minutes to even ask if we wanted a drink.
When we finally ordered (2xglasses prosecco & some olives) it took them another 10 minutes for 2 half glasses of prosecco to arrive and then another 10 minutes for some freezing cold and tasteless olives to finally arrive at our table.
I can’t fault the prosecco as that was lovely apart from it being half a glass...
We then asked for the bill after trying to get their attention for 15 minutes - repeatedly being ignored.
We waited another 10 minutes and still had no bill... so we stood up, put our coats on and then they rushed over with a card machine and we managed to pay.
I’ve never had such bad service in any restaurant and would highly recommend that you do not bother with this place!!!!

Great cakes, but service left a lot to be desired. Waitress brought us the wrong order, when we pointed this out to her she told us that what we had received was how it was served in Prague. No apology. No offer to rectify the mistake either. Considering the price of everything on the menu here, we left feeling somewhat disgruntled...
Better service, elsewhere.

Maybe the Owners should spend less time on decorating the Deserts and more time on teaching the staff some Customer Service Skills.
Probably the Rudest staff I have ever encountered. I tried to ask if we needed to show proof of vaccinations and was told “ I’m too busy to check”. I then stood at the counter waiting for another member of staff to ask and was completely ignored. I returned to my table (outside) and waited for over 15 minutes to be served before just leaving.
Stuck up Tea Boys serving over priced Fancy Cakes. They can stick their Posh Cakes up their Hoops.
Plenty of other places nearby that are pleased to see and serve you and are a lot deserving of your Custom.
I fell sorry for the Bakers who must work hard to produce amazing desert’s only to have the Waiting Staff spoil the experience.
Paul’s on Wenceslaus Square is Fantastic.

I visited this cafe twice during my stay and on both occasions left with a takeaway.
The first occasion the service was perfect and the cakes were not damaged.
The second day I visited early morning to reserve cakes and asked the cafe to hold these in their fridge which they did. I collected the cakes 6 hours later after touring the city. The cakes were all damaged and broken - not edible. I spent over £100 on the cakes and I was shocked when the waitress refused to offer an exchange! I left the cafe with no cakes and no refund.
The customer service is terrible! They were so unhelpful and rude it was shocking especially after the cakes were damaged in their care.

Cubist building attracted us, but what really caught our eye was the selection of magnificent cakes on display to attract attention.
Most incredible delicious chocolate mousse I have ever eaten and their coffee was so smooth and deep flavoured.
Waiters were friendly and attentive.
I cannot wait to return......

We had a reservation for four people for 7:15. When we walked through the door the host immediately began telling us they were all full. We kept insisting we had a reservation. He spoke to someone else and they sent us downstairs. We arrive downstairs to a totally empty dining room. We wait for a few minutes and are finally given menus. No waiter, no drinks. The host himself is running food from the kitchen which we are right beside upstairs to those customers. One of our four patrons finally tells him we are going to write reviews on Trip Advisor and we don’t want to sit in the basement alone. All of a sudden they have a table for us. But by this time we have decided that we don’t want to eat at a restaurant that treats us this way so we got up and left and had a wonderful dinner down the street where our business was appreciated!

We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we popped in three out of the four days of our visit. We enjoyed both dinner, drinks and cakes over the course of our three visits. The restaurant is located a short walk from the clock tower (so very central). There is a wonderful atmosphere with a nod to the 1920s/30s design. The staff are very friendly and despite this clearly being a popular restaurant, nobody is rushed to vacate their table. There is a diverse menu to cater to most diets. We enjoyed the burgers, which were exceptional. I will definitely return to eat here in the future.

Visited for lunch as was drawn in by the deserts in the window and it looked busy.
Initial impressions were good as we were quickly seated. We ordered drinks and food, drinks arrived promptly, so far so good.
There was then a lengthy wait for the food to arrive; a chicken Cesar salad, quinoa salad and a ham & cheese toastie; nothing complex.
When the food arrived it was good, but there was always an underlying atmosphere with the waiters. Not a smile to be had throughout, it was almost as if dinners were an inconvenience to their day job.
Overall, nice location, food okay, but just not a friendly experience. Shame.

The cakes on display are absolutely delicious. The "covid" and "vaccine" cakes are fun and unique. "Covid", combining raspberries, pistachio and chocolate, was a particular favourite of mine - I highly recommend.
Service could be better, however. Even though the place wasn't crowded, the waitress was hard to get a hold of. The tea we ordered arrived lukewarm and bitter from being over-brewed (apparently someone forgot it for a while), the capuccinos had so much milk in them that I couldn't taste the coffee.

This is a must stop for anybody visiting Prague. A lovely busy café located en route from the Old Town Square to the Municipal House serves breakfasts and lunches, but what they are best known for now are the delicious desserts - among them the Virus and the Vaccine. There is an outdoor and indoor seating available, the service was very pleasant and fast, restrooms are located on the premises.

We came at around 4 PM, busy time, yes. After 5 minutes standing in front of the door, a waiter said we can sit anywhere. Then another waiting for 15 minutes before the menu came. Another 15 minutes before someone took the order, and another 20 minutes before the coffee and cake came. And we were not only waiting! in fact, I called the waiter several times, but they ignored. In fact, when I asked, 'where are our coffees? the waiter was really rude saying, 'I don't know, still making it'. But she then went to check at the bar, and came immediately with the coffees and cake.
The worst was when I saw several people coming and IMMEDIATELY served. A waiter even took care of two young girls since they came, sat them, took their orders, went back few times to check on the girls. All these while I did not even receive a single response. A discrimination to an Asian girl? not sure, but I'll never recommend the place. This one is for sure.
