Hidden gem, food was delicious, service was very attentive, would highly recommend. The duck was delicious, chocolate fondant was cooked perfectly as was all our other choices. The theatrics of the duck pate was fun!

We've enjoyed our evening at the SOVA very much. It began with the owner presenting us a complimentary glass of sparkling wine because we celebrated a birthday. The staff was relaxed and attentive, friendly and quick. We enjoyed the food, too. We have to deduct...one point because the beef tartare meal was too salty for our taste. The tartare was seasoned with salt and capers and the bread seemed to have been salted as well. That was a tad too much. Contrary to that we felt the sauce for the veil was missing a bit of seasoning. We enjoyed the duck and the snails, however. We left the place with a good feeling and recommend to go there.More

Great restaurant, not on the tourist paths, but it's definitely worth visiting! Everything we tried was fantastic - humus, veal, trout, as well as the deserts. It was also super clean, and the staff was very polite. Strongly recommend!!!

It was a wonderful evening from the way we were greeted to the wonderful desserts. We were met by a pleasant man and seated , then two beautiful girls served us during the evening by explaining us everything that was on our plates. The atmosphere...was great, every table was taken. For a starter we took Czech snails and roast beef. We took the duck breast for the main ones - wonderful roasting and compositions with sauces, and the veal cheeks were insanely soft and the combination with mashed potatoes is excellent. We finished our evening with chocolate fondant and dessert of the day! It was amazing - highly recommended! p.s. Look at this beautiful Christmas tree at the entrance, it is magical! Thank you for being the most beautiful restaurant we visited in Prague. Merci bien!❤️More

We had a great Czech cheese platter, delicious duck and excellent soup with perfect desserts. The service was impeccable and the staff is very friendly. The meals was perfectly seasoned and balanced. We highly recommend this place for couples or small groups of friends.
Popped in on a Sunday afternoon by myself. I had the pumpkin soup for starters and it was so good I nearly licked the plate. For main course I had the veal cheaks and it just melted in my mouth! Strawberry pannacotta with home made...lime-basil ice cream for dessert accompanied with lemon pie cocktail. I love a dessert that's not overly sweet, but fresh and leaves a wonderful after taste. We have just had the most amazing meal here goulash soup and beef tartare really tasty, then veal cheeks and pork neck as tender as anything. The beer ice cream is really delicious and they were happy for me to have the Czech cheeses as...a dessert. £60 for two of us with beer is amazingly good value for such good quality food in a really nicely designed restaurant with outstanding service. It is a little out of the way but well worth the journey and we really enjoyed the walk up Wenceslas Square and the museum is beautiful lit up in the eveningMore

Food was just great - really well prepared versions of classics with a unique twist. Veal cheek falling apart as it should be and extremely tender duck breast. Solid use of plums throughout. We had dinner here the first evening we stayed in the centre of Prague and took a No 6 tram out to the New Town to find Sova. The resturant has an unassuming facade however, but it was well worth a journey to find this...gem of a restaurant. The food quality and presentation are excellent. Service was great and this restuarant offers a great menu at superb value.More

This was booked as our last evening dinner before we departed home to Canada. Our reservation was for 7pm but then our flight was cancelled for the next day and we had to make an unscheduled trip to the airport and back. We contacted Sova...to let them know we would be late. As it transpired we were over an hour and a half late but they were very gracious and welcomed us into the restaurant. The service was awesome once again and the staff are so fabulous. We chose different dishes from the menu this time and were very pleased with the items we chose. Beef Cheeks were a top choice as was the Beer Ice Cream. The ice cream was served with smoking cream from using dry ice. Another amazing evening. If you can fit a trip to this restaurant into your schedule please do.More
