The place is hugely overpriced, it's just tourist's trap. Don't go there. There are great places just couple steps further.

This place is the worst place we've ever been in our lives. The beer 110kc!!!! 2 minutes down the road it is 25kc!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous! They also charged us cover charge AND THEN tried to charge us 10% for service AS WELL!!!! couldn't believe it! luckily we realised...we didn't want to pay a penny if we're honest it was that... Everything written about this place is true. Don't fall for it. They charge all sorts of extras; service, €2 for soggy old chips on the table and the beers are like 3times the price that is common for Prague. Unfortunately, I didn't look on trip advisor before sitting here.

Nice location, but... Small portions of food and high prices. The most expensive beer in the town. Dont go here!

Restaurant name seems to have changed but the experience is similar. Food is overpriced. Service is really bad. If you think the bowl with crisps is some kind of welcome offer with your beer it will cost you 3euros.

Agressive sales on the way down from the castle. Way over priced and bad quality. To avoid. Not the typical offer in Prague

This is probably the most expensive place in prague. Only had a mulled wine and it was even more expensive than in the UK! No wonder it was completely empty when I went there.

It seems they just use all dirty tricks exists to rob tourist who is walking by. Stinky, expensive and awful place. This a shame for a city that such places keep working, it is almost a good idea to put a policemen nearby to warn people who do not read tripadvisor. :)

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
