I was expecting a great coffee, service and comfy place according to the reviews. But, I did not feel any gingerbread flawour in my coffee (I had better ones). The waitress was nice, hovewer, you have to order at the bar, pay right away and...also return cups by yourself. Do not tip until before you leave (they have special cup for it). I gave the tip when paying, it was a mistake. The dishwasher is so niosy, that the music was not heard. I do not uderstand what the staff is doing there, since there was no toilet paper and no hand towels at the bathroom. The lady was only behind the bar, never celaned the tables after someone left. Croissants with different salty filling were nice though.More

Great coffee, croissants and sandwiches to start your day. A bonus is the prices sre ~20% lower than other similar cafes along with good quality.

We woke up late Sunday morning and wanted to catch up with friends. Saw this location was close and we met up here. The barista was great, and knew how to truly pour coffee. The ambience is modern and trendy. Shared a sandwich with my...husband which we thoroughly enjoyed. Great way to start the day!More

Cozy, quite place. Ideal for chilling with your friends while having a cup of coffee or a cocktail. It could also work for a small "home office"

My twin brother Stephen and I were exploring around the Old Town ( Stare Mesto ) on a beautiful Monday morning when we chanced upon Republica Coffee and what a great find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here ,a light...and airy interior, main room is dominated by a cool looking serving bar showcasing the goodies on offer, great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options,a very cosy cafe indeed. We were greeted by a very pleasant young man who spoke impeccable English ,we ordered Batch Brew coffee ,these were served steaming hot ,we planned out the day ahead while sipping our coffee's. From the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve,it was just so good being in such a great cafe enjoying a quality brew. We really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to Republica Coffee we were totally impressed. Republica Coffee is easy to locate along Martinska in the Old Town. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 8am. A great cafe worth seeking out if you're in the Old Town.More

Quick stop to this place to have a coffee and get on a work call. The most SOUR cofee ever, could not finish how bad it was. My wife had a salmon croissant and had it was bad to the point where she had to...puke afterwards. The service is nice but the quality of the food and drinks simply horrendous.More

Republica Coffee on Martinská is a superb coffee-shop in Staré Město and was one of the many pubs and bar's we went to on our seven day holiday in Prague. Located in the heart of the old town and a stones throw from most of...the sight's this is a superb coffee-shop and well worth a visit as there coffees are superb. The interior to Republica Coffee is fantastic with plenty of interesting fixtures and features relating to coffee and coffee cups. We visited here in the afternoon and it was rather busy in here but we managed to get a seat.A friendly staff member came to our seat and took our order of a cup of coffee each of Batch Brew coffee. The coffees we had were superb and for the old town very reasonably priced. This is a brilliant coffee-shop that offer's a superb coffee range and a few craft beers on draught and cakes and snacks and well worth visiting if you are in the old town. So easy to locate from Národní Třída tram stop it's a few minute's walk.(This is my first review of Republica Coffee). Opening Hours. Monday-Thursday-08.00-20.00. Friday-08.00-22.00 Saturday-08.30-22.00. Sunday08.00-20.00. Public Transport. Bus Stop. Národní Třída bus stop. Metro Stop. Narodní Třída metro stop. Tram Stop. Národní Třída tram stop.More

Really nice place with cosy atmosphere. Super calm and relaxing music, staff speaking English, comfortable sofa and chairs. We had some tea but food looks also nice. Loved the mugs! And most importantly, there aren't many fine places to get anything at 9am

Stylish place with nice seating area inside as well as an improvised, but cool setting in the street! Staff is always very friendly and well-trained to prepare their speciality coffee! Best place for a refreshing stop downtown!

I was just looking through and watch the inside and I was spectated and some staff members were laughing at me. I did not know why, but I went in, asking if they are selling these cool stickers in the window. The lady at the...bar and no customer was wearing a mask, I asked them why and they told me: „In Prag, Corona was not that hard.“ And just because I asked, she told me to not touch the sellings (I touched a postcard) , if I take it so serious with the Corona Crisis. Bad staff, bad atmosphere, I felt bad, all in all. (I gave her feedback immediately but she did not respond and felt more confused) Sorry, but that was not a good experience here in prague!More
