The food was good, but more expensive than it should have been; after all this is Prague where you can get a great meal for $20. We were tired from walking around town and wanted something fast and close to the hotel. Would not come...back.More
We used to visit this place a few years back and it was fine. We booked a table there for old time's sake. Now the beer costs 70 czk (go 50 meters further and you'll get it for 1/2 price). The food is ok, nothing...extra but truly overpriced now. The service...I would say basic but ok.. until they refused to give tap water to my 5-month pregnant friend(?!?!) It's not like she was trying to abuse of anything, she had a full pizza before. This was just the end for me. Never again. Prague is filled with great little restaurants but this has just converted into a tourist trap. Money, money, money. I've been living in Prague for 8 years and I am ashamed of the image it can give to people visiting the city and who would believe it's common practice. I really don't recommend this place.More
Second visit here with a two year gap and still as good as we remembered. They are always busy so the staff don’t fuss round you but the food is delicious. The pizza dough makes the pizza ! Lasagne is also recommended by us !...4 dishes with one drink roughly £50 , great value !More
We were looking for gluten free pizza close to our hotel and this restaurant came up as offering GF pizza. It was quite busy when we arrived without a table reservation but we did get seated. It's a very rustic looking place with a nice...atmosphere. Google Maps picked up where we were and I clicked and saw that it was a cash only restaurant. We had no cash! We checked this with our server who confirmed this was the case and pointed to a small sign on the door. Luckily there is a cash machine across the road. I imagine their cash only policy has had embarrassing outcomes with tourists.
There is no GF pizza or pasta on offer. They do offer GF options such as steak and chicken. They also have GF starters and desserts.
It was very reasonably priced. 1 steak, 1 chicken, 2 soups,2 beers and 2 cokes was a little over £40.More
Oh my days who wouldn’t love this place 😍 It has everything ! Character, great atmosphere, Cosy, great decor, eclectic, awesome menu , fabulous staff ! The two ladies that were on the three nights we went 22,23,24 November they never stopped! They even remembered...we drank Merlot and asked if we wanted one as soon as we sat down ! The food is amazing and couldn’t fault it! Fish is slightly more expensive and not as good value for money as other choices but still beautifully cooked ! I can not recommend this place enough !! 😍 Thanks to all the team for such a lovely welcome, stunning food and three great evenings xMore
Really fantastic place, had the Green Tomato pizza, so fresh and crispy crusts. Czech bubbles really nice, have the Brut bit also had a sweeter version of you prefer. 2 huge pizzas and bottle of bubbles for just under £24. Go there!!

Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town
or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
