IF you are a fan of this decor, you will find it very appealing. the windows, woodwork and decorations are true to the period and beautiful. Food is good. service is good. It is definitely one of the stops you should make while in Prague.

Was a taxi ride from our hotel but worth it. We both ordered the Roast Duck with a grilled sausage appetizer. The sausage was great and served with a cabbage pancake. The roast duck was some of the best I have ever had. The skin was crispy but the meat was not overly greasy. Served with red cabbage (great) and... More

Lovely interior, good service, good food - not too pricey either. It is a huge room - not even a quarter full when we were there (a saturday evening around 7pm). We were a group of 17 but this was no problem for our waiters and they were very attentive. Steak was delicious and they had some interesting Czech dishes... More

We stopped in for a late lunch. Happy hour at 3 for cheaper Pilsener, as it was pricey prior to that. Food was traditional Czech. Goulash soup hit the spot as did the fried cheese. A little pricey for Prague but good food nonetheless.

We came to the place at 10pm with them closing at 11pm. We are nicely welcomed here even being the last customers. Food was great, portions were huge, services was also pretty good. We even had some entertainment in the form of a playing accordionist. We left happy!

We came here after visiting the American bar next door. Great atmosphere with traditional live music playing in a historical setting. Food good, very traditional. Service good would definitely eat here again, we had a great time.

Good restaurant in attractive point of Prague, a little bit too big and crowdy, but compensates everything with very good beer and cuisine. You can find many different dishes, but roasted duck with red cabbage and knedliki is absolutely delicious. Place seems to be quite famous, but even our hosts, native Czechs have never been there and they were also... More

We had beef goulash, beer and blueberry cake. Delicious! The building is really unique and well preserved Art Deco style, plus the waiter was really great. Recommended and would definitely go again!
