We came as a large group for a choice of set meals. This restaurant is downstairs in the basement and because of the low concrete ceilings the noise from customers was very loud and reverberating. The meals that diners had were void of vegetables, and...More

The place is overpriced and the personnel is quite unfriendly. My biggest beef with them is that they do not serve tap water. Not even in a caraffe with maybe a slice of lemon, for which I would be willing to pay a small price....More

U Medvídků is a place where you can try classical Czech dishes (such as pork with cabbage and dumplings or duck breast with potatoes) accompanied by beer and experience the genuine atmosphere of a Czech beer restaurant. I was there in Mach 2017. The food...More

We visited as a group of 7 + 1 child, after 2 in the afternoon. The service was allright, they were kind and helpful, though you could feel some of the waiters didn't speak English very well. The portions varied, the pork and the duck...More

An institution, U Medvidku is not to be missed, being a classic Prague bar & restaurant. The menu is extensive and all our meals were fantastic. Service fast & efficient. It's own on-site brewery beer is delicious. Great atmosphere. Don't miss it.

Service was very slow and the proportions weak at best. This came recommended by the Airbnb owner so was definitely disappointed after the meal. Salad was terrible and the men left hungry. I'm sure if they ordered pig knuckles, which seemed to be very popular,...More

My wife and I have been in this restaurant twice already because tour groups would normally choose this hotel for dinner services. Unfortunately, the food here is average to say the least. Even their version of the famous Czech dish, svíčková na smetaně, is not...More

We enjoyed dinner here two evenings ago. It was quite busy but not a problem to just sit down at a table with some other travelers that had some open seats. The wait staff was prompt, the beer was good and cheap. The food was...More

Isn't no secret, that if you want to drink a good beer, you have to go to Czech Republic. One of the many breweries is also in Prague, U medvidka. If you want to taste it, you have to go to a basement area, where...More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the
medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the

Pretty sure I didn't pay cash for anything in Prague in fall 2015. Found them to be very credit card friendly. Almost certain medvidku takes cards.
