Made two stops at that place during our last visit to Prague. The waitress was great and spent quite a time with us explaining Absinthe and it effects. And as we humbly followed her recommendations the world became more colorful.....

It was fun and a bit quirky to try absinthe. The waitress was helpful in making recommendations about which kind to try and later how to enjoy it. It wasn't the tastiest thing I've downed but it was fun to try something new.

Great experience with friends. The waitress did a great job explaining the different ways to drink absinthe and giving us some basic story about the drink. Would recommend!

My first time ever in an absinthe bar. I was delighted by the knowledge of the staff. They were helpful in choosing the right beverage. They also accepted USD for payment so I could keep drinking.

This was my second visit to Absinthe Time. A came with a friend, she had never been. Not a huge fan of Absinthe, but I still like to show people around and have them try new things. As usual, the place was buzzing on a Friday night. The place was wall to wall. The bar, the hall, everywhere. Everyone seemed... More

I had a blast here, I knew nothing about Absinthe prior to going here. The staff is super friendly and talks you through the extensive menu and helps you select to your tastes. Seeing the various ways that absinthe is traditionally prepared. If you want a cool experience then this is worth a stop.

You have to come here for the experience. There are so many varieties to try and the guy at the bar is a supreme professional. We loved it!

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
