Great experience with friends. The waitress did a great job explaining the different ways to drink absinthe and giving us some basic story about the drink. Would recommend!

My first time ever in an absinthe bar. I was delighted by the knowledge of the staff. They were helpful in choosing the right beverage. They also accepted USD for payment so I could keep drinking.

This was my second visit to Absinthe Time. A came with a friend, she had never been. Not a huge fan of Absinthe, but I still like to show people around and have them try new things. As usual, the place was buzzing on a Friday night. The place was wall to wall. The bar, the hall, everywhere. Everyone seemed... More

I had a blast here, I knew nothing about Absinthe prior to going here. The staff is super friendly and talks you through the extensive menu and helps you select to your tastes. Seeing the various ways that absinthe is traditionally prepared. If you want a cool experience then this is worth a stop.

When in Prague you have to try absinthe! This place has several choices and the staff were very helpful explaining the different kinds, and the different ways to drink it.

My wife really really wanted to try Absinthe. I was pretty unsure as I am not a big drinker (neither is she). The place was a bit tricky to find the sign does not say Absinthe Time. For some reason both google maps and Apple Maps both where having issues with its location. We finally found it and glad we... More

After living almost 3 yrs in Prague i visited this place once, never more. For me the experience was really the worse in whole Prague. Mybe i was unlucky with my visit but my summary is like a tourist trap. *Bad service. *High prices. *Few customers. *Bad taste of tap beer, (something really wrong with the taste).

Never experienced this before Prague and we had a great bartender who knew everything about Absinthe. He setup the water tower on the table the served the Absinthe. Make sure you ask to see the bottle with the scorpion in it. YIKES. After about an hour and feeling no pain we left for more drinks elsewhere. A great experience, thanks... More

Really great absinthe bar. The bartender Boris was fantastic. He helped explain the different types of Absinthe and the different systems for drinking it ('hot" or "cold"). My boyfriend tried the hot system and said eh like it better than cold. The place was small and intimate. It was not very busy the night we went and the bartender says... More

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
