We enjoyed a lovely Earl Grey tea and delicious crepes Suzette. The background music in French was very relaxing.

Nice restaurant just off Charles bridge. Waiters are very professional and create the right atmosphere. The boss stopped by to see if all was going alright. The French onion soup was very decent. The cheese didn’t create a mess which is always a plus. Main...was the entrecôte with the super secretive sauce. 27 different herbs go in it and it actually tastes great. They do double serving. First portion looks small, but with the second serving you definitely have enough. Fries were crispy. I topped it up with a chocolate fondant, which I enjoyed very much. Not sure if they do it for all guests but we got a selection of their desserts in small portions. I appreciated that very much Overall we had a great experience. I’ll definitely come back later in the year.More

With a Czech take on the famous Le Relais de L’Entrecôte in Paris would recommend the steak frites for lunch. A lovely stop following a morning exploring the Castle!

The staff was rude and messed up with our booking, so we ended up having an expensive dinner on a sidewalk outside the restaurant. Cafe de Paris used to be great for a sophisticated culinary experience, but this time we were treated like at McDonald’s....The food was still nice as always, but the overall experience was sad. Not to mention the waiter never offered a desert menu or coffee after the dinner.More

My husband and I had dinner here one evening. This was our second time at this location. Restaurant is very close to the Mandarin hotel - where we were staying for part of our trip. We came back for the house specialty - Entrecôte ....The Entrecôte is served with the "secret" - seventeen ingredients - special sauce and french fries. The sauce is kept warm in a chafing dish on the side table and is replenished by the server as needed . Perfect! The salad was good, nicely dressed, Creme brûlée delicious. Champagne to celebrate ... The restaurant was not busy that night, so the service was very attentive. It was a great night . Thank you Denisa and Milos for making our evening special . Till next time, Dekuji a NashledanouMore

We had the lunch menu. However, the a la carte menu didn't have a lot of options. We had some soup and tartar. The food was simple but tasty. I would come back again for lunch. The service was not very attentive though. We also...ordered a salad and they didn't bring the olive oil or vinegar. When we finished the bread (while still eating the main course) no one asked if we wanted more, we had to ask them. At the end of the meal, we have been asked for the tips, I am not a big fan of being asked for tips. Despite of these 2 things regarding the service, it is a quiet restaurant in the centre, with good food, with reasonable lunch menu.More

Visited the restaurant with my family and we took the excellent signature dish (entrecote with sauce Cafe de Paris). Upon entering the restaurant, I asked twice whether we could pay with EC card or credit card and both waiters confirmed. After having ordered the drinks...one of the waiters informed us that we could not pay with card and that I could withdraw money from a nearby ATM. In principle not an issue, would it not be that I paid based on a hand-written (non-VAT compliant) receipt. I had the impression that we did not get our full meals and that the waiter is cheating the restaurant…. Overall, the food was excellent but when leaving the restaurant, we had a bitter aftertaste....More

"Wait", you say to yourself as you walk into the Cafe de Paris -- "are we in Paris or Prague"? Where to start -- the ambience is perfect, the wait staff is very attentive and accommodating and the menu provides lots of choices. My husband...didn't realize it when he initially made the reservation, but we ended up being there for his birthday which made it even more special. The music selection was great and the wait staff was surprised when we senior citizens asked them to turn up the music -- instead of down -- and it wasn't because we are hard of hearing (ha ha) -- but we really enjoyed it which also added to the french vibe. My husband had the entrecote and was beyond thrilled with it. It came out sliced thin with a heavenly (secret) sauce on it. While he started in on it the rest was kept warm in a chafing dish and was served to him at precisely the right moment. The french fries were some of the best he has ever tasted ad those were also kept warm. I chose one of the specials of the day: Gnoochi with mushrooms that we were so light and tasty that I didn't leave any on my plate and stopped just short of embarassing myself by licking the plate! Kudos to a great experience.More

If I had to choose a "last meal", this would be it! Entrecôte (steak) with THE most amazing Cafe de Paris sauce, pommes frites and salad complimented by a beautiful red wine. This surely must be heaven. The restaurant is beautiful and intimate. Service was...attentive. A night to remember.More

Nice atmosphere. Very basic menu' selection. Basically Ok Service Indeed more a cafe' - bistro than a restaurant. Ok place if you are around and you like the style of the premises. Basically Ok food. Nothing to remember in my personal history though!

We passed by this place to get out of the cold and warm up with some coffee and desserts and we counted our lucky stars that we did. The desserts were phenomenal but amongst them was the apple strudel which is the best we've had...so far in Europe.More
