We really enjoyed our dinner at V Zátiší; the food was not only excellent, but the plates were beautiful. Our server suggested wine pairings that were just perfect for our meals. Impeccable service, good vibe, great location

Best dining experience on our trip to Prague. Had the set course Czech menu with wine pairings. Inventive food and great service.
This was our favorite dinner in Prague! We enjoyed every bite!! I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and they were great to accommodate me. The food was delicious and the servers were all so warm and friendly.
Fabulously invented food and amazing service!!! The food was interestingly presented and delicious! The service was excellent. They accommodated my husband’s dietary restrictions with grace. Even gluten free bread!
We enjoyed the monkfish and chicken very much. The prawns were good but better at Kampa Park. The roasted peach dessert was very good but did not taste like a peach. The crème brûlée was very good. Service is very attentive
Our friends from our same town in AZ had dined here the previous week and recommended it. As lovely a Michelin restaurant as you will find in any city. Very polished professional service. We had the chef’s special tasting menu with wine pairing. Excellent. We...so enjoyed the fine wines. It was too much food for us but we took home our steak and enjoyed it the next day. A truly rare find.More
The food was phenomenal. The wild boar ravioli was over the top good. I had the chicken which melted in your mouth because the sauce was exquisite. One of the best meals I have ever had.
The food was outstanding and the service first class Wine list definitely first class and reasonable The restaurant is not inexpensive but worth every dollar/euro/koruna paidMore

As members of the Zátiší club, my Danish friend and I received a notice last week about a special guest appearance 4-9/9 at V Zátiší by French chef Baptiste Renouard, and since it coincided with my friend and her daughter being in Prague this week,...we decided to book. The menu consists of 5 courses (+ amuse bouche) and costs with wine menu Czk. 3,995,-. Of this, the wine is Czk. 1.000,-. The two Danish women are curious to taste exciting food, but there are a few things they don't like to eat. For example, prawns and snails. It's fair enough that you don't eat everything. Here's the menu and wines as described in advance: Amuse Bouche The coast of Brittany Yellow tomatoes, peaches, saffron, curry Gewürtztraminer 2021, Alto Adige, Cantina Tramin Leeks, shrimp jus, Granny Smith apples, sorell, lemon thyme Riesling "Quarzit" 2020, Rheinhessen, Riffel Flame grilled monkfish, cauliflower, coconut, seaweed butter Les Sétilles 2020, Bourgogne Blanc, Olivier Leflaive Lamb, celeriac, tonka beans, black garlic, pumpkin seeds Brunello di Montalcino "Amore e Magia" 2016, Montalcino, Podere le Ripi "Childhood memories" chocolate dessert Tokaji Aszu 2004, Tokaj, Samuel Tinon Of course, we had noticed that the leek dish is served with shrimp jus, but that was OK. It's more a matter of texture that makes them dislike shrimp. The evening offered hits and misses, both in terms of food and service. The latter first: on arrival, the waiter asked if we would like a glass of prosecco or champagne. We chose prosecco, but were met with a comment that why would we chose prosecco when the menu was French? We felt like he was calling us cheapskates, which wasn't the best start. When the sommelier brought the first wine, we agreed with him that my friend's daughter could have a white wine instead of red wine with the lamb dish. We later had to insist on this, and my friend's daughter was also skipped when wine was served with another dish. Finally, we had to insist on the discount you always get as a Zátiší member. Small things, perhaps, but not very professional. Our amuse bouche was with shallots, buckwheat and foam and tasted wonderful. The dish with yellow tomatoes, peaches, saffron, and curry was well-balanced and tasted great, I especially liked that there was both fresh tarragon and fresh chervil in the dish. However, there was not the slightest trace of either saffron or curry in the little jelly cubes that were supposed to add these flavours. Apart from the dessert, this was my winning dish of the dinner. Leeks, shrimp jus, Granny Smith apples, sorell, lemon thyme I can't describe as anything other than weird and partially unappetising. I never found the apples. On the other hand, the serving was masked with pea shoots, which hid it quite well, because it wasn't beautiful. The very small servings of leeks were nicely cooked with a good bite, although the colour was somewhat unappealing. What was supposed to be shrimp jus was supplemented with small prawns with the shell on. They were brownish and unappealing, the texture was decidedly unpleasant and they added virtually no flavour. Considering that many ingredients are mentioned in the menu description, one might have wished that the prawns were also part of the description. I ate most of it, but wouldn't dream of ordering the dish again if I were to come across it on a menu. Flame grilled monkfish, cauliflower, coconut, seaweed butter. When the dish was served, we were told that there were also sea snails. Considering that many ingredients are mentioned in the description in the menu, one might have wished that the snails were also part of the description. Among the ingredients listed, I couldn't identify coconut or seaweed butter, only seaweed, but the snails had a very penetrating, fishy flavour, they were tough and difficult to chew, and mine seemed to contain sand. I'm normally a snail eater, but these were not appetising. My friend and her daughter were quite challenged by the surprise ingredient. The monkfish had a great flavour, although you couldn't identify that it was flame grilled, but the texture wasn't ideal. It wasn't flaky, rather a little chewy. The cauliflower was excellent. We had the dish served with steak knives. Lamb, celeriac, tonka beans, black garlic, pumpkin seeds. This must be the main course of the evening, even though it was quite small. The lamb was very tasty and tender, the fat was unfortunately not crispy, but rather tough and difficult to cut through with a steak knife and even more difficult to chew. The sauce was nothing short of marvellous. The side dish of celeriac, tonga beans and pumpkin seeds was delicious, but I couldn't identify the tonga beans or the black garlic. The dessert consisted of chocolate cream, a large chocolate "biscuit" and ice cream with crumbs of sweet brioche. For someone like me who loves chocolate, it was pretty amazing, although the ice cream only added temperature and texture. It had no flavour. I won't go through the accompanying wines one by one. They were all well chosen. They were poured very conservatively in terms of quantity, and the five glasses together barely totalled half a bottle. At Czk. 1.000,- you have certainly paid for what you got. We agreed that we had had an exciting experience. But unfortunately, we also agreed that if we were to give stars, we wouldn't go higher than 2 out of 5. And that simply wasn't good enough, considering the overall price. We were not impressed that two dishes - despite describing a number of ingredients - did not mention the very ingredients that characterised the dishes in question the most. Why hide this in the description? In our case, it would have meant skipping the experience, but that can hardly be the explanation...More
