We stopped here on a food tour and got a tour of the kitchen and cooking prep areas by the head chef before opening hours. This place is amazing, and the care they put into the food comes through: fresh local ingredients, interesting flavor combinations, etc. We had 4 different small bites of a variety of amuse bouches to try.... My husband and I had dinner and found the food to be excellent, but very new and experimental. The menu is a tasting menu with either 6 or 11 courses. We were stuffed after six, I can't imagine five more! The wine pairings were excellent and well worth the money. All told I think dinner for two with wine and... More

Watching the kitchen prepare and serve this meal was like a symphony in action. Each person worked together with the next to execute a flawless delivery of this meal. My honey enjoyed the eleven course meal and I had the six course. I'm glad I did, by the fourth course I was stuffed. Everything was so beautifully presented. This was... More

To start with the positive, the service was top notch/very friendly/explained the courses very well. Everything else was underwhelming though. I love trying new and different foods so the opportunity to try so many local foods was exciting. I was disappointed to find many of their flavors were either overwhelming, or combined with ingredients that just didn't seem to match.... More

My wife and I came here for our anniversary meal, and we were very impressed by the food that we received. We opted for the 11 course tasting menu, which I would only recommend you go for on a rather empty stomach :-). Each course was bought out swiftly, and explained fully. The taste was absolutely amazing, and each course... More

A small restaurant (reservations needed). Quite an experience in the best way! I wanted to try Czech food but not in the traditional way- this was a de-constructed take and presentation was unique and put a smile on my face because I wasn't sure how to eat some of the course. The wait staff were very attentive without being intrusive,... More

This is in my top 5 meals. Location, interior and attentive but not overwhelming service were phenomenal. And then there is the food. We had the 11 course tasting menu which came with 4 amuse bouche and palate cleansers. Each course was superlative and unique unlike some tasting menus. It showed off the best of quirky Czech cuisine with an... More

The food was stellar - mix of style and ingredients worked well. Service including our original sommelier was superb. The only bad thing I can say is that the service dragged out at the end of the meal.

Everything from making my reservation to watching the kitchen staff was delightful. Each person on this staff clearly loves their work and it comes through on everything they do. Such a seamless meal. The restaurant was full when I visited. Each course was better than the last.

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
