The restaurant has only a prix fixe menu, 12 courses with a wine or juice pairing (great for kids). The wine parings were perfect. They focused on Czech wines for the white wines, and every one was perfectly matched and a fine wine on its own. For the reds they matched with other European and South American wines, again, each... Every good restaurant has its own specialty. For la degustation it is their juices. I was very surprised to find it on the menu and out of curiosity I took it. It could not have been a better choice. The thing that surprised me the most about the juices is how well they complement the dishes. Where wine is paired... More

The seasonal 6 course tasting menu with wine pairing did not disappoint, but on the other hand did not excite in any way. The food and flavours were tasty and the service was as one would expect here. However, the presentation of each course lacked invention and finesse. I cannot fault the meal, but I left feeling that something was... More

The menu is fixed for either 11 courses before 10pm or 6 courses after 10pm since you need at least 3 hours to finish 11 courses. And I guess they have different menu for different month/season in the year. I had the November 6 courses with wine pairing. I liked the beef heart and deer meat the best. Exquisite food... More

Our last night in Prague we hoped this restaurant would be one to remember for the right reasons. Having eaten at other renowned establishments with mixed fortunes La Degustation was our last hope of something really special. It delivered on all fronts with one minor exception, which was personal taste rather than anything else. We were made welcome from the... More

My husband surprised me with a diner here. We arrived at 9pm but the place was still full and new guests kept on arriving. They have an open kitchen which I like because you could see the chef and its team at work from our table, which was quite fascinating actually. We had a 6 course meal with the complementary... It was such a pleasant meal. My husband did the 11 courses with wine pairing and I did the 6 courses. Even with the small tasting dishes we were so full! The staff was very friendly to our 3 year old son. The dinner was long (3hours) and all tables were full so reservations is a must. It's easy I... More

I ve been to Prague several times and never considered it a place that stands out for high level cuisine. This restaurant changed my perception. Well balanced tasting menu, with good wine pairings.excellent service and location. Highly recommended, i would go for the long tasting menu. Reservations a must.

For our first trip in Prague we tried la degustation boheme bourgeoise. What a dinner !!! we were not disappointed, from amuse bouche to dessert / cheese. The welcome and advice of the sommelier was perfect. A very nice wine list we opted for a pouilly fume from Dagueneau And the sommelier showed us several excellent Czech wines. We highly... More

We expected a great deal from this Michelin-rated restaurant and we were not disappointed. We went the wine-pairing route and each dish and accompanying wine brought surprise and pleasure. The restaurant is expensive, but the food and the level of service makes it all worthwhile.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
