This was my b. day present from my daughter. Our reservation was for 9 pm but were 20 minutes late so they make us wait until 10 pm. Don't be late on this restaurant. Food was excellent. We choose slovack vin which was very nice. Staff very kind. I recomment.

Cannot recommend enough. I have done quite a few tasting menus but the creativity and quality of each course was on par with a handful of the best meals I've had in my life. Highly suggest this place, and do the wine pairings, which are all Czech wines very thoughtfully selected for each course.

I have the pleasure to visit and taste the short menu at La Degustation. Location: The restaurant is located in a corner, difficult to find in Prague, no far from old town square. (I asked couple of taxi drivers and they have difficulty to remember the exact location). Receiving staff: Welcoming and greetings at little be laconic for a One... More

This was the second visit to this restaurant. The service was excellent , the sommelier competent and professional. Everything visually appealing and cohesive. Unfortunately the food was not so, whilst beautifully presented, the whole meal of 11 courses with selected wines lacked a story line - the only one we could find was acidity!!! Not particularly appealing. To close the... More

This was the most memorable meal of our lives. 11 courses with wine/juice pairings. Fascinating creations. Delicious. Visually stunning. The wines were spectacular, the sommelier was charming to talk with. The staff pampered us as if we were royalty. The kitchen's in the open, and I enjoyed watching them work with passionate devotion. Very expensive...the same price per person as... More

For my wife and I, this was probably the best fine dining experience we've ever had. The food was among the best of the best and service impeccable in every way. My wife and I were fortunate enough to be seated next to the beautiful open kitchen where we could observe and admire the team of culinary experts meticulously prepare... More

My wife had researched this before our visit and it was a highlight, for sure. 5 of us dined and it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. I highly recommend it. We did the 6 course option but as the only guy in the group I wish i had gotten the 11 course option. Absolutely get the wine... More

This was our splurge in Prague. The staff were extremely coordinated as they attended to your every need. The food was adventurous (be still my (beef) heart!) and well executed. The sommelier was patient in answering questions regarding the wine pairings. A great experience.

We profess a love of amazing culinary experiences, and seek the very best in each region we visit. Le Degustation stands alone at the pinnacle of our global fine dining experiences. It was part of the reason for our visit to Prague. We booked months in advance. The 11 course meal with pairing of wines was a triumph, each course... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
