Everything from making my reservation to watching the kitchen staff was delightful. Each person on this staff clearly loves their work and it comes through on everything they do. Such a seamless meal. The restaurant was full when I visited. Each course was better than the last.

My boyfriend and I visited this resturant after long anticipation, having heard so many great things about it. The place provides a very unique vibe that isn't found in most Michelin star restuarnts, it is designed beautifully- you can see the kitchen, and the staff is very kind and polite. We took the 6 course meal, but unfortunately we were... More

What a great experience. We were promptly seated and offered drinks straight away. They explained the menu to us, we chose the 11 course, with one person doing the matching wines. We had a few tasters before we began as well as bread that was regularly replaced. Each meal was placed on the table together and explained well by the... More

This was highly rated as one of the best restaurants in Prague and it truly is if not the best! There are two tasting menus and I could not begin to describe them because of the complexity and creativity of the courses.I can truly say it was one of the finest meals I've had in my life and I have... First of all let me say we enjoyed the venue. The restaurant was nicely furnished and comfortable although I did think the tables were a little too close together. We chose the 6 course menu with accompanying wines. I couldn't help thinking that the portions were very small but actually by the end of the courses we felt full. Staff... More

We heard about this restaurant from he Michelin Guide, and it was an amazing dining experience. The menu is crafted in an open kitchen and plated like fine works of art. The wine pairing leaves a little to be desired. Excellent service, great ambience, pricey but you get your money's worth.

Tasting menu had great variety well prepared but selections were a bit too eclectic. Iced tomato at end of meal was wrong choice. Service was very good as well as ambiance

I was there for dinner. Having heard abot this place for years but never was able to make it happen. After watching a Bourdain rerun I decided that I need to definitely go for it this time when I am back in Prague. Made reservations beforehand. Got the table next to the kitchen. Almost the chef's table!! I went for... More

This was my fourth dinner at La Degustation and I'm pleased to report that it continued to surprise and impress. Their staff may be the best trained in Prague. The kitchen is definitely the most inventive in Prague but without resorting to any culinary gimmicks. They strike a nice balance between playing up seasonal specialties that honor their Czech roots... More

I just ate here again the other night. Second visit in 2 years. This time my friends and I did the 6 course meal. Last time it was the 11 course. Overall, it was excellent. I really appreciated the total renovation they had completed on the property since last time. Simply put, it was gorgeous. The new tables and new... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
