Quite a different location for dinner as it feels like you are dining in a dungeon. Most tables were reserved on Friday evening and it seems like reservations are a must in busy seasons. I highly recommend the beef and chicken platter for two with rosemary potatoes and like previous reviews said, try the garlic soup.

Marvelous place down in the basement medieval themed with swords, shields, and armor. We got the Czech plate for two but it was enough for four and the price was reasonable. It had roasted duck, roasted pork, marinated pork ribs, smoked pork loin, roasted chicken, potatoes, dumplings, two kinds of cabbage, spinach, and the original Budweiser beer. This is maybe... More

We were there for a family-dinner and had a very nice evening. The food was good, the portions big enough and the service attentive and friendly. If we are next time in prague, we will certainly come back!

This is a hidden gem near our Moods Hotel. What fun! You walk into a basement decorated with knight's armor and animal skins. The menu was extensive with Czech dishes. Highly recommended.

We have visited this restaurant many times and we keep coming back. The food and the menu card is outstanding with very reasonable prices. The czech cuisine is great but there are many "international" dishes to choose from. I can also recommend the sirloin steak "Antependium".

5 stars for the interior. Very medieval! Different rooms with different medieval themes. We ordered venison which wasn't absolutely fresh but cook very well. The stuffed turkey was nicely done just slightly over powered by sun-dried tomatoes. Service was very good. Worth a visit, well priced, I recommend it.

We visited the restaurant twice for dinner. We were lucky to find a table for two because almost all the tables were reserved. The environment was very atmospheric with medieval touch. Service was perfect and the waitors very kind and quick. The first time we took a meat platter for two (it was huge), four large beers and one extra... More

We used to go there for a lunch with my colleagues. I usually give a restaurant more chances after bad experience. I gave this restaurant more than 5 chances, but the staff is always soooo rude and unprofessional, that no more chances from me will follow ever... The food is somethimes quite good, but nothing stunning, and somethimes really bad.... More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
