Location and contact

We are happy to invite you to our lovely, colourful restaurant Luka Lu. Luka means harbour, and this suits our restaurant very well. Luka Lu is a harbour in Mala Strana, with its courtyards, colourful decorations, little birds and its friendly staff, mostly from the ex- Yougoslavia.Lula Lu is...Born in Prague, in a quiet and wild, cute, defiant, hides inside two natures, one from the father, Italian adventurer and bohemians, and another from a mother Bosnance quiet and simple.Lu works in Lesser inn which carries her name Luka Lu. Evil tongues say that people cross the Vltava River and on the Male Strana is because of her untamable beauty and not because of good food and wine.

The decor is fabulous, love the chairs and table on the ceiling. We ordered ‘the ploughman’s’ which was different sausages, chicken, and burgers with fried potatoes. Very filling, very meaty. Not what you’d call fine dining but still good. Cost us £34 for the meat,...More

I went to this restaurant many times. Last year the food was very good although a bit expensive. The service was good too. Today, the food, an octopus salad, was so so. Small portion, a lot of herbs and potato's, very small pieces of octopus....More

We visited Luka Lu in 18/01/2019 for dinner. The place's decoration is not just beautiful, but also sophisticated and elegant at the same time. Their cuisine was decent. We order a soup, two main dishes, one salad and 3 drinks and we paid around 950...More

A funky restaurant with whimsical interior decoration. For starters, we shared the mussels with white wine and the seafood soup. The mussels were big, fresh and tasty. The seafood soup was good but a little too salty. For main course, we had the grilled octopus,...More

Loved this restaurant. It's full of character, so many weird and wonderful things to look on the walls and in the different rooms and the birds added an interesting twist. We can highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. We dined there on our way...More

walked by and decided to change my plans because it was so cute and warm inside and thrilled I did -- the food was fresh, real, and carefully prepared and the service was fabulous. I loved to read about the family backstory on the menu....More

This quirky family-run restaurant offers a welcome change from the menus of the tourist traps in other parts of the city. Reasonably-priced, well-prepared tasty food served in a homely atmosphere surrounded by an interesting mix of antique and exotic objets dar.

It's a bit like the Tardis as once inside it goes on forever and there is also an outside area but too cold in November. Menu covered all taste and not all the usual heavy Czech food. Great decor with an exhibition of paintings and...More
