We were recommended this restaurant by our Airbnb owner. The meal was average, something I would eat in my local cafe. The service was suboptimal considering we were the only people in the restaurant. Nothing proactive, eg, when bread ran out we had to ask for more, wine was brought in glasses already poured and no discussion of what the... More

I highly recommend U Emy Destinnove! I met 3 friends here and we had a long dinner. The wine selection was great, the food (appetizers, mains, dessert) was outstanding and the service was top-notch. The waiter were friendly, fun and attentive and the chef is fantastic- he came to our table several times to check on us and how we... More

We stopped here with our 2 young children and what a find it was. The food was outstanding and the Chef even made up a daily special child portion for our 3 year old which she devoured. Couldn't recomend it highly enough.

I visited this restaurant through a recommendation by a local. The decor and atmosphere of this place was great, it really adds to the dining experience. The food was of a very high standard and the service was really excellent. The chef (who is American) visited our table a number of times during the night to chat which was a... More

We visited as a family of 3 on New Year's Eve hoping for a special dining experience and we were certainly not disappointed. The food was exceptional and the welcome was warm. Steven made time for everyone and the evening was superb. Look forward to returning next time we are in Prague!

We read a very positive opinion about it in the guide: enormous disappointment. The X-mas dinner was a kind of French-style kitchen without any talent, no originality, products of average quality, a poor service. Only the boss (and the cook) welcomes you in a pleasant way. The rest is to be forgotten. Fortunately it is not expensive.

We went this place at our third night in Prague, I wish we could try it before!!! Their welcome was super, they did their best to serve us in a short time that we were three couples. We had a delicious seafood menu, wine was good, too. We really enjoyed our meal and cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made our... More

An excellent menu, we were made to feel most welcome. The food was outstanding again, and it was a great staff outing.

We stayed in a hotel just around the corner from U Emy Destinnove and it was recommended by the hotel. We don't typically ask for recommendations at a hotel, but everything about this restaurant was fantastic. Cozy atmosphere and wonderful food with great service.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
