Located around the corner from our hotel, Augustine hotel, this recommended restaurant was a great choice! We sat outside, enjoyed the ambience, delicious food: sausage with horseradish mustard sauce, pulled pork shoulder and potato gnocchi with cabbage, and sweet buns with warm vanilla sauce and...strawberries! Highly recommend!More

The food was good! It wasn’t anything special but it was a nice place. The staff barely got by with English but overall it was okay.

As we were visiting Prague, we decided to get inside this bar for a beer. We met a nice local group of friends celebrating their birthday inside, which whom we talked a little. After around 5 minutes in the bar, a waitress jumped on the...people we were talking to, while totally ignoring us and started shouting in Czech to the two people we were having a talk with. Though we didn’t really understand what was said, it seemed like the staff didn’t want us - foreigners - talking to locals and made us sit down and order beers in a very agressive language. We immediately left. Unbelievable experience…More

Really tasty, fresh and quite big portions of food, as meat (pork leg Czech traditional cuisine), as well as other like cheese, grilled vegetables , etc... Nice , polite staff, good atmosphere in restaurant.

The restaurant was crowded like a traditional czech pub, which meant its quality. The choice of food was various, staff was nice, kind and cooperative. Prize is as usual. Food was delicious and the beer… lovely <3 i highly recommend

Restaurant I used to hang out with quite a lot with my friends + supported them in all the lockdowns via the food delivery refused to serve us today despite the fact that we all had xxxkin Covid-19 certificates but refused to show them as...we are all sick and tired of playing the Covid-19 game…. 1:1 ratio of waiter: customer and still they prefer to be empty rather than fully packed with people…. Sorry guys, you ain’t gonna see any of my pennies anymore, not even if life ever goes back to normal!!!More

We ate at this restaurant twice while my family stayed in Mala Strana on a recent trip and we've eaten there before on previous stays. They have a big menu full of standard Czech dishes that are all well prepared and presented. This last trip...we also had salads for lunch--caesar salads with chicken that were good and a Greek salad that was very good. They have a pretty standard beer and wine list. There's English in the menu as well as Czech and the servers, who are excellent, all speak some English. There's a lot of outdoor seating in nice weather.More

One of few places food was delicious! It might not be the cheapest in Prague, but very clean with polite staff. Food was great, tried multiple dishes and none disappointed! If you’re around and hungry, do visit!

Malostranska Beseda - great little restaurant in Prague. Our hotel, Augustine Luxury Hotel, in Prague recommended this spot after our 4 hour ride from Munich and it was outstanding.

Husband and I enjoyed this place for dinner and a few drinks in the basement bar. Great atmosphere and the authentic Czech food was fab (as was the delicious cold beer). He had goulash with dumplings, I had gnocchi with pork and cabbage. Both really...tasty and very good value for money. Beware, they will keep bringing you more beer until you put the beer mat on top of your glass! Would recommend to anyone visiting Malá Strana; if we'd had longer in Prague we would have gone back again.More

This restaurant has very good local food and beer at very reasonable prices. It's mostly visited by the locals, it's certainly not a tourist trap.

We had great service and such great food. I had the Roasted Turkey wrapped in bacon with mashed potatoes which was amazing. The spread for the bread is very good also.
