As always, we had a fantastic evening in Terasa u Zlate Studně. We had the "souboj kucharu" menu which was fantastic and very well priced. The service is extremely friendly, and the wine pairing really interesting (from less known moravian wineries).
We had a great night, and enjoying by night the breathtaking view is anyway worth the trip...

We enjoyed the restaurant a lot. The meal was quite expensive but it was totally worth it (especially duck breast).
The staff was super kind and helped us with the menu. I have to highlight the wonderful view as well!

It is very kind from you that you have spend your precious time to share your possitive experience in our restaurant. Of course we belong to one of the most expensive restaurant in the city but it is due to small amount of table (we are not able to use economies of scale) and for using high end quality food for preparing dishes by our award winning chef Pavel Sapik. We recently enjoyed a wonderful evening here with friends. The weather was beautiful during our visit, enhancing the views from the terrace. The food was uniformly delicious and the staff did a great job, including the sommelier who helped us select great local wines. Highly recommended and thanks for a great evening.

The view was amazing but the food was definately not worth the money. We had a fixed menue that included a selection of the dishes. The starters were good but nothing special. Two courses were aweful. The main course was ok but the meat was not a good quality and not really tasty. The service was stiff and not really welcoming. We would never eat there again. Prague has much better restaurants to offer for less money.

My recent birthday celebration at Teresa was a disappointing and disheartening experience. We had made the reservation in early April, notifying them of the special occasion celebration in July. Upon arrival at our reservation time, they seated us next to the wall in a corner despite three tables on the front row being open and available. When we requested to be moved to one of the tables on the front row so we can enjoy the view, our waitress told us that they are all reserved. Well, we had a reservation also! She said that the reservations at these tables must have been made before our reservation, that is why they are not available to us! What should have been a joyous occasion turned into a series of frustrations, ultimately overshadowing the significance of the day by being greeted with indifference upon arrival.
The food once served was delicious, and the view despite having to enjoy it behind two rows of tables is beautiful. When it came to dessert time, there was no acknowledgment of a special occasion celebration from the staff and there was no effort made to make our experience of dining there special. Their chef came out to talk to tables to ensure that people enjoyed the food. We certainly enjoyed the food and that is why I can give three stars for our food experience, but they certainly failed miserably to deliver the most basic standards of service and hospitality to make a dining experience extra special for a birthday celebration. I will not recommend this restaurant for a special occasion.

firstly I would like to thank you for your visti and also to deeply apologize for forget about your celebration. I understand that it was very important for you but the manager (althought he had a note about this) due to huge bussines has forgotten about giving the cake on the house. I am so sorry for that. On the other hand I would like to clarify that you have made reservation on 12/7 not in April as you wrote. That is why you have been seated to the second row (but there is nice view from all tables). We are seated our guests according to the date of their reservations. It means first come first served. Neverthenelss I will be more than happy if you could give us second chance to ensure you that we are best place for perfect dinner, lunch or any reason of celebration/anniverasary. As you can read in previous reviews or because we were awaraded as best hotel for romance by the TripAdvisor.

We dined at this restaurant. We were the only visitors, but the waiter brought only part of the order, and forgot about the rest. I had to order again. And when all the same the second course was brought, the waiter did not follow any comments or apologies for the mistake made. Also, when the bill was asked, the waiter immediately tried to take the plates from the table, although the guests still continued to eat and the cutlery was in the appropriate position, which the staff in establishments of this level should have known about. As a result, the impression of a good place with a beautiful view of the city and excellent cuisine turned out to be greatly spoiled by such service.

first of all let me apologize for all inconvinience which happend durign your late lunch or earlier dinner in our restaurant. I am happy to hear that food was according to your expectation. Neverthenless as you wrote our service has spoiled your dining experience. I am so sorry that this happened in your restaurant. Honestly I never heard about this during my 16 years experience in this property. My team works here since 2008. So maybe it was some kind of misunderstanding. You came in the period before preparing dinner (we have expected some group) without reservation. So it could appear that team are confused and focused on something else. Neverthenless I am so sorry for this and I do belive that you will give us second chance to ensure you about our quality.

Děkujeme za úžasné odpoledne ve Vaší restauraci! Vše bylo perfektní – všechna jídla krásně a nápaditě naservírovaná a chuťově naprosto excelentní, sympatický a pozorný personál, a v neposlední řadě fantastický výhled na Prahu, který skvělý gastronomický zážitek ještě umocnil. Restauraci můžeme jen doporučit – její návštěva stojí za to a je nezapomenutelným zážitkem!
Thank you for a wonderful afternoon in your restaurant! Everything was perfect – all dishes tasted excellent and were served in a beautiful and imaginative way, the staff were nice and attentive, and last but not least, the view of Prague was fantastic and intensified the outstanding gastronomic experience. We can only recommend this restaurant – its visit is definitely worth it and is an unforgettable experience!

Exceptional views over the city and terrific service. I'm the only vegan member of my family, and they went out of their way to make me my own special vegan tasting menu. A little pricey, but well worth it. Great experience.

We had our lunch here on our last day in Prague. I made a reservation months before as I assumed it would be busy on Christmas week which was a good call because restaurant was full when we left. Firstly, food is great! We had their tasting menu and as per my fiance, it's one of the best meals he had in Prague (I certainly agree to that). Secondly, the view is just beautiful and we love the ambiance of the restaurant. Thirdly, the staffs were amazing. It was a 5/5 experience for us. It was my 4th visit in Prague and experience like this makes me want to come back for the 5th time. 😊😅

A magical experience!
The food was exquisite, the service perfect and the view…. just magical! The restaurant sits right under the walls of Prague Castle, the view is magnificent. Went there with my sister. We started the dinner with a glass of bubbly., shared goat cheese spread. Then she had risotto and I had duck. Just yummy. We finished the dinner with a selection of sorbets. I would wholeheartedly recommend you make a reservation and visit this restaurant for a sunset dinner. The staff is extremely attentive, food great and view of the old Town is fantastic! Seriously, a great place!

We had dinner here while on vacation and staying at the hotel. Beyond the best view of the city, we had a fantastic, top of the line meal. The service was incredible, and the food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant if you have the time, you will not be disappointed. I personally do not like peas, but my husband ordered the pea soup, and I loved it. One of the members of our group mentioned about getting the recipe and they actually sent it to us. Now, that is service. So friendly and welcoming.

The cuisine was superb! Initially you may come for their opulent city view, but the service, wine & champagne selections and THE FOOD WAS FABULOUS! It was a delight of an evening. Our waiter was attentive and charming but did not overdo the service and interrupt us. Our server brought us a complementary starter called fennel mouse. It was light and a delicate blend of a non-sweet mousse and flavors that we loved. We had the Kohlrabi salad with light citrus dressing. All the vegetables were so fresh and the flavors complemented each other beautifully. We had the and the sea bass and duck entrees. I recommend both.

We celebrated my 70th Birthday in Praha at the Terasa restaurant. The restaurant has a wonderful location tucked against the walls of the castle, perched at the top of a centuries old building, and offering a splendid panorama of the city. The dining room is small and elegant, the service, perfection with no off-putting pretensions, and the cuisine is surprising, delicious and extremely well presented. I know it sounds stupid to say, but we’ve been fortunate to eat on some of the world’s great restaurants in Paris and New York, but I think I like Terasa the best. The food was so good, the service so nice, and I felt so comfortable and welcomed. AND, all said and done, the cost was a fraction of what it could have cost and still been worth it.
So, when you’re next in Praha, or if you live there and would like a lovely night out, fine at the Terasa!

World class - simply put - the restaurant Terasa U Zlate Studne is one of the finest restaurants anywhere at any price. Not only is the food deliciously fresh and innovative, the service is personal and distinguished. The view of Prague is spectacular at breakfast and dinner, daytime and nighttime. Prague is wonderful, and restaurants like Terasa U Zlate Studne make Prague unforgettable!
I stayed for 10 days and had breakfast each day and dinner on several occasions. The dinner with my wife (who was with me part of the time) was as magical as the city itself. I hadn't know about the restaurant Terasa U Zlate Studne before, but I hope this review helps others find this truly outstanding rooftop experience.

The terrace feels cozy and secluded. It is open to the city, walled on the back side (with large mirrors reflecting the view). Glass plates can close the back side, in case of wind or rain. There was no vegetarian (let alone vegan) starter on the menu, an alternative was promptly offered by the staff. All dishes were excellent with great presentation. The team even accommodated a last minute birthday request. We were very happy and will come back.

But there is a special vegetarian menu on your demand, where you will be able to find 2 starters and 2 mains. Feel free to ask service team to be offered to you next time.
