This restaurant came recommended by our hotel in the Old Town of Prague because (they said) the food is good and it's conveniently located very close to the hotel. They were right on both counts, and we had a wonderful meal with beer, wine, appetizers,...entree, dessert, and cordials for $53 USD. The menu is traditional Czech, as is the decor, and we were impressed.More

A part of the menu with salads and appetizers isn’t big, but there are very good options of salads made with fresh vegetables. Main courses menu is good, but I highly recommend you to try duck leg - it’s perfect match of ingredients. We’ve also...tried chicken breast with a sweet potato and meat was very tender! Good drinks menu, apart from beer and liquors there are different wines options. Free wi-fi for guests is available. Staff is polite.More

We had some typical food, which was prepared with care. The friendly staff suggested a very good half dark beer. Great position, right in the center near Charles bridge.

This is such a brilliant place. The flavours of the dishes are just wonderful, the service quick and friendly, and the atmosphere great. The decor is well thought out. The cooking is superb with the venison goulash being just outstanding, and the chocolate with sour...cherry dessert a knockout. Prices are normal, the food is extraordinary.More

Reserved a table and it was busy, so pleased we had reserved. The food was good, I had turkey stuffed with brynza, which was very good and my husband had the chicken supreme, also good. Nice surroundings and clean restaurant. The food came very quickly.

We managed to sneak in early (6pm) which was lucky as all the tables were reserved. So a definite booking is required if you plan to eat later. The decor was cosy and comfortable, with a vaulted type ceiling. Service was friendly and prompt. We...choose ham with apple and horseradish as a starter to share. It tasted better than it sounded, but we were glad that we shared as it was quite large. For mains I chose pork with porcini mushroom sauce and potato disks and my husband chose duck with red cabbage and dumplings. Mine was delicious, however I think my husband had had enough duck by the end of it and was so stuffed that he left his third dumpling, saying they were very filling. Sadly we didn’t have enough room for pudding. All in all a good experience of a Czech meal, although not sure we’d choose the same again.More

Lovely restaurant with great staff, excellent menu at reasonable prices, decent wine list and great ambience. We ate there for all four nights in Prague. If you are staying anywhere near Charles bridge it is well worth a visit. They had excellent choices for me...being gluten free. Prices were much lower than the restaurants in the old town square and the decibels much lower if you want to have a conversation. Food was all fresh cooked and piping hot.More
