My wife and I and friends we're traveling with arrived last night in Prague at the Aria Hotel. We arrived quite late, but we were hungry and decided to have dinner at the Coda Restaurant, on the rooftop at the Aria. It's a patio restaurant, and it was quite cool, but there were patio heaters that helped with the chill... More

We ate at Coda on our first night in Prague and it really set the bar high for our subsequent meals. Very special experience. The menu offers traditional Czech dishes as well as more standard fare. Service and food were great just like the scenery and ambience. Each table has electric heaters to take the chill off the air after... More

Our tour group of 18 had lunch and it was very good with the main course steak and risotto, followed by fruit. It was just the right amount of food, and the steak was excellently prepared. Service was very efficient. Bathrooms were very clean and modern. As this was a tour group with included lunch, I’m not sure what the... More

The sweeping views of Prague are spectacular, and the food was wonderful. We enjoyed the Czech degustation menu better than the standard five-course degustation menu, but both were lovely. Service was relatively slow, so leave extra time if you are getting one of the multiple-course options.

We stopped here to have lunch before flying out of Prague. The food was great and the view even better. Next time around we will definitely book for dinner. It would be great to see the city all lit up.

We were staying at The Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa in Mala Strana on Trziste at the beginning of August and walked past the Aria Hotel many times before reading about its rooftop restaurant - "The Coda". So one day upon returning from the old town with the sun out and the temperature at a beautiful 27 degrees celcius we... More

You can see the whole Prague from the roof, especially Prague castle. We enjoyed the meal, not really cheap, but value for money.

This place is so nice! I ordered the three course Czech menu which was very good. Service was great and I am likely to return on my next Prague trip. Rachel

The restaurant was fully booked on the night we wanted to dine on the roof terrace. It was a hot July day and we were hoping that we could get a spot to have late dinner on the terrace. We should have known better and make reservations ahead of time, but we were counting on our "VIP status", having stayed... More

Was referred to Coda by our hotel....wanted something local and interesting . We ate on the roof with the best view of Prague...at night if you can find a better view then I don't know where it is. The service was exceptional...very attentive but not overbearing. Great wine list. And oh the food...nicely presented and prepared with a certain passion... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
