This fancy restaurant is located beneath the faculty of Architecture in Prague. Descending the stairs you get into this very cozy restaurant underground. The bricks-made roof gives to the place a cozy atmosphere. That's it. I tried the soup of the day and goulash. Good, really good. But yet, all the story ends here. Service is too slow, unpleasant service,... More

This restaurant has an amazing location, tucked away down in a cellar, it looks amazing and has a wonderful feel about it. And for a change it's nice to see a modern approach to furnishing the restaurant, rather than mock medieval tables and chairs, the fittings are modern, stylish, and work rather well! Sadly, that's where the positive stops. The... More

We ordered vegan dish with smoked soya tempeh, salmon stake and beef stake. It was great. The prices are fair. We had a great time

We went in for dinner in the interesting looking outdoor courtyard. Lovely helpful waitress (but there seemed to be a scouling lady boss in the backgound). Despite the eclectic (muddled?) menu, three out of four of us decided to opt for the Czech 'specialities'. Unfortunately, the 'meat' in the goulash that two of us had was totally inedible - just... We were here with a group of friends... We had visited this restaurant many times in the past and recommended it to our friends. The food was OK, but too expensive for rather small portions. The service however was slow, it took a Long time before we received our drinks... The dishes were not served at the same time... Unbelievable... More

Had a light lunch here twice. Just as I remembered it from previous visit 12 years ago. Food is excellent and very good value. You must try the garlic soup!

Although most travel information will tell you that seafood isn't traditional in the Czech Republic, I ordered the salmon entree and it was the best meal I had on our trip! It came with a salad dresses perfectly and the salmon was cooked to perfection. My husband ordered Greek Salad and wished he had ordered the salmon. He said it... More

We visited in a recommendation from friends. The venue is brilliant cellar style arched roofs etc. Lots of tables, apparently you might be asked to share if they are busy, but it was quiet when we were there so not an issue. We had Goulash which was the best we had in Prague, but the other traditional dish, a neat... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
