My husband and I have a mission-to find the best burgers wherever we travel. That is why we checked Tripadvisor before we arrived and then decided to go to this place straight from the bus station. And we made the right decision! We ordered our burgers (delicate beef burgers) and (my husband ordered) fries and we got them pretty quickly.... More

Me and my wife visited "Palanda" and "The Tavern" to decide Prague's best burger. Palanda took it out for us delivering a premium gourmet burger! Sides and service also premium! Should be much higher on the list IMO, Almost all of the bad reviews are related to the fact that you can not alter the burgers ingredients, but why would... More

In Palanda you´ll find probably best burgers in Prague. Homemade bread, fresh meat, quality ingredients with coleslaw and homemade fries, that´s what you get for approximately 220 Czech crowns. Burgers are just amazing, so better make reservation. It´s located near city center and only about 2 minutes far from metro station.

Stopped here for a burger break, the burger was pretty good; I ended up getting the delicate burger which had tons of flavour, was cooked more on the rare side when we ordered medium (I was fine with this cause I like rare better). Didn't take Euro's there so just FYI; service was alright, nothing too exceptional there. Nothing really... More

After a week of Austrian and Hungarian food, we need a change of pace. Outstanding burger at a very fare price. Service was excellent.

Although this place might have a great burger , one of the best I ever had , however this all goes to trash when u get rubbish treatment from the waiters . Aggressive , cold , unprofessional simply the worst team of waiters you would find . Went inside , asked for a table , the place was half full... More

Went here after reading the reviews. Will recommend, good meat properly prepared, fries nicely flavoured with herbs. Burgers around 200k (incl. fries).

We had an excellent meal here while visiting family. All seven us chose burgers of various kinds and we were all happy with our choices. The waitress Jana was attentive and very helpful in that she went out of her way to source some hot chillies. If you like simple food well executed, then I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Tried to get into cafe imperial but they were fully booked. We came here as it's just round the corner. So glad we did! The burgers with blue cheese were delicious as was everything else. Our waitress was so helpful. Definitely recommend.

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
