My fiancee and I stopped her to catch our breath from walking around Prague. The service was good and the coffee list was quite extensive. I can recommend the Jamaican blue mountain. We stayed for almost an hour, taking or time reading, and never felt rushed.

We tried this place, and came back more times. They have very good cafe and fine bagels, tasty cakes. I can recommend to anyone.

Today my girlfriend and I went to cafe Ebel for a quick coffee break; as soon as we entered we were greeted by some nice and smiling waitresses who were waiting to take our orders. Our coffees were very good and branded by the same shop (probably in roasted),and there was a pleasant atmosphere in the cafe. They also have... More

Lovely little cafe, right in the Old Town, but on a quiet street. Came here twice for breakfast. Has wifi and friendly staff. Lovely fresh croissants and cakes plus the hot chocolate is amazing! Would come back here if I'm ever in Prague again. Nice spot to linger over a quiet coffee.

This place was just around the corner from our hotel and served us well whilst we were in Prague - we were looking for a quick lunch and picked up a bagel and a coffee from here. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for good coffee or a tasty lunch.

Located just outside the big stream of tourists from Charles Bridge towards The Old Town square, Cafe Ebel is the better place to get some air again over a nice coffee, tea, or ice coffee. Reasonable prices, you can pick up coffee beans or grinded coffee too. Forget Starbucks, head for Ebel.

Stopped here for a late afternoon coffee break. The service was friendly and fast. Coffee was served in beautiful china cups and all the drinks were perfectly prepared. The cafe had an old world atmosphere making us feel far away from the bustle of the crowds of people outside.

We were heading to the unbelievably good craft beer bar U Kunstatu ( one of Pragues most outstanding beer bar's. ) and we chanced on this very interesting looking café. Located smack bang in the heart of the Old Town ( Stare Mesto) we decided to sit outside as it was a roasting hot afternoon,a very pleasant young lady took... More

And the options were very slim compared to all other cafés we've been to in the area. Very cool atmosphere, and what we did order was very good (spinach quiche)...but service was a little slow, and I left a little bummed that I didn't have the breakfast I'd been looking forward to. No eggs (any style at all other than... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
