We ate here on 22nd of Feb evening, and it was a gem near our hotel. The food was excellent, draft beer superb. The waithress was very lovely and always smiling, so we felt serviced. The roasted pork with Onion and cheese was great, also...the pasta as well what my wife ate. The pencake was lovely too as dessert. I highly recommend this place, and will visit again in the near future.More

We had just arrived from Ireland, two couples and as we were staying nearby we were told that this was the street to look for eateries and after being turned away from TGI Fridays next door (at 6.30pm...) this was the option we went for...(hindsight is a great thing). As per other reviews, the staff didn’t speak English or didn’t want to, no customer service at all, and as we cleared a plate or emptied a glass they were swiped from us in an aggressive way, quite strange. The food was good, no complaints there, just a feeling they didn’t want us there...More

The food is average but the staff are so rude. They do not seem to want non Czech speaking customers. I would suggest giving this a miss

Take a seat. Welcome to my review. -There, you have already experienced better customer service than myself and a table of 10, when visiting Blázinec U tučňáků place on Sunday. The whole experience was as crazy as the meaning of the word chosen to name...the restaurant. First, my Czech speaking friend was told to hide a bottle of water I had brought in. NOTE: I HAD NOT HAD ONE SINGLE SIP. But I hid it, and all was ok. As the 10 of us settled in to order a big meal plus drinks each, another waiter came up to us and told her that if he saw us take 1 drink out of the (now hidden) bottle, he would kick us all out of the restaurant and we could all go to McDonalds (clearly, this place MUST be a pinnacle of class and finnesse compared to the massively successful burger franchise.) The reason? They also sell water. So rude. So stupid. We happily went and spent our 3,500 at a wonderful spot next door. Oh, and I drank mulled wine. And didn't touch my bottle of water until later that evening- meaning one less unnecessary purchase of single use plastic bottle in the world. Manager of Blázinec- if you care about your business, do something about your staff. Also, please look into choosing sustainable straws. The plastic ones displayed so proudly at your bar, literally, suckMore

Not a good place at all !!! First, the waitresses don't smile. I felt ill at ease, like not in the good place at the right time ! When i wanted to pay the bill, nobody went ! She took my cash and asked if...i wanted the money back. I answerd yes so she "threw" my cash. If you want a drink, just cross the roadMore

Been to this bar a few times now and always had a good visit and so it proved on our latest visit. This is a big bar, located in the busy transport hub of Nadrazhni ,its quite a cool looking bar, retro decor and furnishings including a...cool looking serving bar and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around this bar. We were here on a Friday night, bar was busy with a great atmosphere, we ordered a beer each, beers were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. The beer served here was spot on, even though it was March it was quite hot so a nice refreshing beer was just the ticket. We both really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one each before we moved on as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Restaurant Blazinec is easy to locate on Nadrazhni . Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, 11am till 11.30pm. Friday & Saturday, 11am till 12.30am. Sunday, Midday till 11pm. A great bar, well worth checking out if your in the area.More

We found this restaurant whilst going for a long walk during the day. We went back there in the evening & had the most amazing meal, the Pork was cooked to perfection & when it came out with onions & cheese we thought oh oh...BUT my god it was to die for. You wouldn’t go wrong eating in here & if you fancied a boogy afterwards you just popped downstairs to the disco.More

Asking if the waitress can speak English, answer is yes. She brought me a Czech menu. Asking for a angus beef with peper saus and mayonnaise with French fries and a glass of red Lambrusco wine. Ok. She left. I had to call her back...as she never asked me how i would prefer my steak. I asked cooked outside but almost not inside. No sorry. She brought me a glass of red wine, it wasn’t cold and sparkling like a Lambrusco should be. It was a merlot or cabernet. I asked her about it and she ensured me it was a Lambrusco and Lambrusco isn’t sparkling and cold. I insisted and she took finally the glass, upset. I understood why. She had to open a new bottle of Lambrusco and finally I got my wine without a smile. Then came my steak. I asked about my mayonnaise but she forgot. A little bit bloody so too much cooked. The saus was yellow and without peper. I called her back and she send me another waiter. I explained him that I asked peper sauce and he answered that they don’t have, the sauce is combined with mustard from Dijon and a little bit of peper. I explained him that I never had that feedback and that I asked peper. He started to be aggressive saying that I cannot read, i explained him that I asked to speak English and never received an English menu. He didn’t propose me anything he left. I told him that I would not pay because I don’t like mustard. He came back taking my plate and asked me to leave in an agressive way. He pushed me out asking me if I am coming from France, I answered him no from Belgium and he said f..k Belgium and France. I will never go back there and hope that people from Belgium and France will think about before going there. Plenty of nice and good restaurants in Prague but this one is to avoid.Really.More

It has amazing location, close to the shopping centre, metro, trams etc. They do have meals to eat, but in my eyes it is average food for high price. Drinks have usual Prague price and normal quality. Service is not really fast, but friendly. Down...in the basement is also a music club, but i haven´t been there. So in general really average place which i do not need to visit again.More

Visited this place with a friend of mine for dinner. The food was all right but not impressive, you could make better food at home. The service was truly abysmal; the waiter barely looked at us, grunted when delivering food, cursed in Czech when we...asked to pay with cards and ran into my friends leg without looking back or apologizing. Unless you're starving, I'd avoid this place like like the plague. Actually scratch that, I'd go to TGIF I I were starving, they're right next door.More

My and my friend we had a very bad experience with the staff in the restaurant in the evening on the 16th of November. We planned to have dinner and glass of wine. Unfortunatelly there was wery loud table. We couldn´t hear a word. We...asked a waitress if it was possible to tell them to turn it down. We were told that is not possile. Other taible started complaing about thenoisy people as well. Finelly we decided to move to other room. Then we were told that if we want to have a quite time we should go to library. We left. The staff should realise that there are other people than just one table and not to be rude to other guests if they find a solution and move to other room.More

We come here often with my colleague for lunch menu and are quite happy about what we get. Portions are good and the taste is like what the czech cuisine used to be when I was a kid, if you understand what I mean. It's...kind of school food taste, but more tasty and better looking. Service is fast, somethimes even too much, bringing mains when you didn't finish your soup, but this is okay for me, as my lunch partner is a very slow eater :) Only thing I mind is when the door is open, as it is connected to the bar below, so you can smell the 'pub odour' and the lack of salt sometimes. For the price range in Andel it's a very good option though.More

when came there together with my wife on Friday noon we were surprised that the restaurant was empty. There were just about two guests. This should warn us but we decided to try. The service was good so we ordered a food. My wife had...a salad with grilled chicken. It was ok. I ordered a mushroom risotto with grilled pork pieces. The meat was hard, but the risotto was a pure disaster. It was ordinary al dente boiled rice, some spices and champignons. Indeed, the cook should go back to the school and learn how to prepare risotto. Very disappointing experience.More
