Pivo A Parek is always a great beer destination for me on any trip to Prague I take. A superb looking beer bar ,descending a staircase you are met by a solid serving bar ,to the right a great room with an impressive range of...beers on shelves for take out service ,a room at the back and a beer garden ,pubby decor and furnishings,it's just a great place to enjoy some quality beers. We were here on a Tuesday night,we opted to have beers from Bakalar Brewery ,these were served In pristine condition ,we settle back and soaked up the great atmosphere in this busy and popular beer bar. My beer was really good,a crisp, light ,hoppy beer bursting with taste,so easy to drink,a beer that both myself and my twin brother Stephen are really fond of,it was just so good being in such a great beer bar enjoying a quality brew. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every previous visit to here we had a great time. Pivo A Parek is easy to locate along Korunni ,a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, open from 2pm. Saturday & Sunday, open from 4pm. A brillant beer bar and one I highly recommend you check out if you've an interest in quality beers.More

Pivotéka Pivo A Párek on Korunní is a really good bar and bottle-shop that offer a very good beer range and offers a good range of Czech pub grub and hotdogs. Pivo A Párek translated into English means beer and hotdogs the two of these...being a traditional element in Czech culture which are both affordable and superb. Pivotéka Pivo A Párek has a superb interior with many interesting fixtures and features relating to beer throughout the whole bars interior. There are three areas to this place the first being the main bar area were you walk down a flight of stairs. In here theres is a main bar and shelves of bottled beers on prominent display. There is a superb back room with excellent seating options and excellent beer related items adorning the walls. Then theres a fine beergarden which is an ideal area to have a few beers when the weather is nice. This was in effect the third bottle-shop that we visited and in my opinion the best. When we visited here it was fairly busy which was nice as I like lively places. We have been to Pivotéka Pivo A Párek a few time's as there beers are superb. When here we had a few glasses of Bakalář brewery beers a superb beer which was well served and priced. This is a superb bar and bottle-shop that is well worth a visit as is this district of Prague as there are many interesting places to go to and if you ever get a chance to visit this bar and bottle-shop give it a look you wont be disappointed.Really easy to get to from Perunova tram and bus stop its a minute or so away.(This is my first review of Pivotéka Pivo A Párek). Opening Hours. Monday-Friday-14.00-22.00. Saturday-Sunday-16.00-22.00. Public Transport. Bus Stop. Perunova bus stop. Tram Stop. Perunova tram stop.More

Craft beet pub. First visit here was excellent. Great service with the 6 craft beers explained in detail, introduction to some locals and tasty light evening meal. Worth a 5 star rating. Following night was so different. Same barman only intetested in drinking with his...friends at the bar. We were served but 2 people at another table only served when they started to walk out. A 1 star experience. The beer is good but service can be great or totally unacceptable on consecutive nights.More

Small simple local bar. Very limited menu of a few sausages and up to six taps of beer alongside a few fridges of bottles. Visited on a Friday evening around 8pm and was very empty. Bartender didn't speak any English but was accomodating and helpful.

We came across this bar on our way back to our hotel. The bartender was very accommodating and polite. We sat is the garden at the rear (which you would not even know it was there), the beer is slightly more expensive than bars nearby...but it was very nice. This appears to be a very popular place in the area, so we visited again.More

Avoid at all costs! The bartender is drunk, doesn't serve except for the bar, the beer is expensive with some exceptions. Bottled beer extremely overpriced. The bartender is a complete xxxx however, who will intentionally keep you waiting, just to show off. Why would you...want to endure a xxxx like that? Making some dumb comments on how are you thirsty, while you wait? What?More

Simple concept, Beer and Sausage, but executed very well. I visited this bar several times on a recent visit, our hotel was in Vinohrady Great beers, I tried several and enjoyed them all. Bread and sausage with various condiments available on the table. Steep steps...down from the street level entrance, then you are immediately facing the bar to make your order. To the right, several fridges full of beers and lagers to buy and drink there or take away. Numerous beer glasses for sale too. A few places to stand around drinking in this area and that’s about it. Through into the back of the pub are many more seats, most of them in a covered sort of beer garden. Lots of smokers out there though and I don’t, so it was off limits really if you don’t smoke. Occasionally smoke came through to the indoor seats but not enough to bother me. Friendly staff, and a female who works there but on that day was visiting socially with young child, took time to answer my questions about beers. She agreed that it would be helpful to add even a bit of information in English for visitors who cannot speak Czech. Things like strength of the beer, or type such as dark or light even. But it’s not a big issue and it’s fun to discover for yourself by trying them all, hic! Very reasonable prices and we will visit again for sure.More

Pivo a Parek is an absolutely fantastic beer destination that if you've a passing interest in great beers you have to visit. This is a cool looking bar/ bottle shop that has a cool rustic look to it ,the main serving bar has a good...choice of local beers ,not many but well thought out and the bottled selection is awesome, there's a back room and a big beer garden out back, it's just a great place to unwind in. My twin brother Stephen and I were here late Saturday afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who served us Pardubicky Pivovar " pernstejn " these were served in excellent condition, we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. My beer was outstandingly tasty, a really smooth and quite strong beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink indeed, a beer style I am particularly fond of. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer each before we moved on as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Pivo a Parek is easy to locate, you can jump tram number 10.16.23.91 to stop Perunova were you walk down Korunni were you will find this bar. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, 2pm till 10pm. Pivo a Parek is an outstanding bar/ bottle shop that has some great draught beers on offer and a fantastic bottled selection of beers that includes some great beers from hard to find Czech microbreweries. This is a lovely Bar,descending down a staircase into the...main room they offer some great draught beers,it's a multi roomed pub with a rustic look to it with great decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options both inside and outside on their cool terrace . We were here on a Friday afternoon and we were greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff, after a quick study of the beers on offer my twin brother Stephen and I opted to have beers from Clock Brewery,we took these beers outside in their beer garden and just soaked up the sun while supping our beers. These are the type of bars I love to visit on any holiday to Prague, there local bars that are off the tourist trail and serve quality beers. We really enjoyed our beers in here and had another one from the same brewery before moving on,we purchased a couple of bottled beers to take back home to our home town of Liverpool from there take out options after our holiday. Pivo a Parek is easy to locate by jumping tram number 10.16.23 .91 to stop Perunova were you walk onto Korunni were you will find this bar. Opening hours are ; Monday to Friday,2pm till 10pm. We were walking past Pivo a Parek and thought it was a beer shop. When we went in to check it out it was a bonus to discover it is a small bar. The are about seven local draft beers available and along one wall...are fridges containing loads of local bottled beers. The bar staff are excellent, we had a wonderful afternoon sampling a few delicious beers and having a nice talk with the staff. We bought a couple of bottles to take away with us. If you are in the area give this bar a try!More

I was here 2 times and both times the service was super rude even though I speak Czech language (usually Prague waiters are rude if you just speak English), so I guess it was not a coincidence. They have 10-20 beers on tap, but I...was not that much amazed with the choice. The food was nothing special, just average.More
