Been coming to Prague now vu for two years recently, been before as my dad married a chech woman, it's like a second home to us, but just recently we did discover bake shop, full of fresh, delicious cakes, my daughter loves your red velvet cake, and can't be in prague, without visiting your place, my walnut cake was delicious, simply like gypsy tart, homemade, some cakes really cheap, some more expensive, but really worth it. Go and try for yourself, u won't be disappointed. The owner speaks English and I couldn't believe, he did recognise us from last year, so nice. Enjoy everyone, go and support local bakery

Great choice of snacks and sweets. There was a lot to choose from at this lively cafe. We had a beef Cornish pasty, some rugelah (little poppy seed biscuits) and an apricot tart. It was all delicious. It was very busy at 3pm on a Friday do hard to get a seat. This would be a great place to collect take away and picnic elsewhere if the weather was fine.

A lovely cafe very close to the main square. A great selection of hot and cold drinks, salads, cakes and fresh sandwiches to eat in or takeaway. Lots of filling in the sandwiches and would recommend the cookies! It was quite busy at lunchtime but we managed to get a seat in the window. Would definitely visit again.

All very nice but very expensive. 8 croissants including 4 coffees to go at 41 €. Not even the friendly gesture to put the lids on the and to place them in a cup holder. I spose it’s not a big deal but. But some Freiday service would have completely compensated for the over pricing. Ps. The croissants were nothing special and a big king or McDonald’s coffee or cappuccino is 10 times better.

We popped in for a coffee and I had the choice of three different types of plant based milk. I chose oat and it blended well with my Americano. I also had a healthy chocolate & coconut vegan ball. There was a choice of salads and a hummus wrap. My partner had a latte and giant cookie which he enjoyed. Prices are similar to what you'd expect to pay in the UK.

During my time in Prague, I loved stopping in Bakeshop for everything from a quick snack to breakfast to a cold drink. I loved everything I tried including the lemonade. Also, they sell a really good Elderflower drink.

The shop and the food looks great, we had high expectations. We ate scrambled eggs with ham and another scrambled eggs with spinach and feta and both were disappointing. Where can I start...too much ham for too little eggs, ham cut too big and not crispy, spinach far too salty, eggs overcooked, more salt. We also bought ham and cheese croissant which were ok but not great. The Buttercroissant was the worst, it has melted cheese on top and is also salty. The Coffee was good but overall we very disappointed since our expectations were high.

Well worth the wait! Amazing cakes great coffee! The line moves quickly don’t let the line keep you from visiting here. This is one of the few places where people are ready to place their order when it is their turn. Unlike other places where after being in line for 5 min they still don’t know what they want.

Such a disappointment. Coffee hot chocolate cake tasted very simple, slightly bad. It tasted like products that were bought at a cheap convenience store or bodega. Terrible. I don’t get how this place is rated so good.

We were looking for a place for breakfast and came across this place. It was very packed but after waiting a bit we were able to get a table by the window. One set of people had to go under the table to get seated on the window side of the table. They had bread on one side and sweet desserts on the other. I ended up trying the mushroom quiche. We ordered at the counter and they served the food to the table. The quiche came with a salad so it was quite a light meal. The hot chocolate also wasn't too bad. It was quite a nice stop for a meal even though it was a bit crowded. It is probably a good place to grab something tasty while walking around the beautiful city.

We got handpies to take for lunch on the train - chicken, beef and veggie. Even though we couldn’t heat them up and ate them at RT, they were still nicely baked and we enjoyed them. Would love to go back and try something else on a future visit.

This place was literally around the corner from our Airbnb. All the goodies you can ever imagine. Dropped a star because the staff isn’t super attentive and you have to kind of chase them down in order to pick out items you want. They need a better and more streamlined system to serve customers.

Went here for breakfast for scrambled eggs. When the woman at the counter was taking my order, as an English person I got confused by things she was asking and instead of helping she rolled her eyes and got annoyed that I didn’t understand her and then started talking to her colleagues clearly about me in Czech as they all turned around and stared whilst laughing at me. Never been more embarrassed in my life I would have accepted an apology but an apology I was not given … sadly will not be returning to that witch of a woman x

Stopped here for hot chocolate and to warm up on a snowy day. Clean, bright cheerful spot with a range of nice looking snacks. Very difficult to resist! The large cups of hot chocolate tasted great. Try sitting against the window after you crawl under the table!

Visited here twice during our time in Prague. Great selection of pastries and cakes and good options for savoury breakfasts and deli style lunch too. Drinks were available with oat milk too.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
