Excellent service, beyond excellent food and excellent wine. How this is not in the Michelin-guide is a wonder to me. 6 out of 5 stars

I popped in Pepř a Sůl for an afternoon meal as it was round the corner from my conference hotel, and ended up having the best meal I've had this year. Delicious beef tartar topped with parmesan starter, an outstanding veal schnitzel main, and a...rich chocolate and mascarpone desert, washed down with Vimperk "dark lager" (it packs a punch). This is the food of the gods! The ambience is cosy and rustic, the staff and manager super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it for anyone paying a visit to the city of a hundred spires (Prague)—for reference the restaurant is just 2 minutes from Vysočanská metro stop (Line B).More
Excellent place I took advantage of the spring special menu and had creamed asparagus soup which was superb, and then port tenderloin with poached asparagus and baked potatoes, with white wine sauce, which was ALL delicious. Service was very efficient and friendly Place a reservation...if you don’t want to sit on the barMore
Believe the reviews! Fabulous food, attentive service and advice on what’s traditional. Special menu for seasonal food, we had very fresh asparagus! Even though we stayed right in the old town and my friend thought it was mad to travel out it was so worth...the 12 min metro journey. Wish we had come earlier in the trip to make a return visit! Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Very reasonable pricing for the quality of our meal.More
We had a wonderful evening at Pepr a Sul. The food was absolutely delicious. Two of us shared the beet root appetizer with goat cheese. It was very good. The other two had the white asparagus soup. It was amazing! For main courses, we selected...salmon, pork, rabbit and ribs. One was better than the next. It was truly a fabulous meal and the portions were generous. Our waiter gave us wine pairing suggestions and he was spot on. The service was outstanding. We received a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout our meal. When we return to Prague we will definitely dine at Pepr a Sul again! I highly recommend.More
Lovely restaurant just outside city centre. We took metro Line B from Mustek to Vysocanska (6 stops, 12 mins, 30czk) and then a 2 min walk to restaurant. Mirek was the perfect host and we had an excellent meal of Lamb, Pork Ribs etc. along...with Prosecco, Wine and Coffee. Portions are large so we skipped dessert. Well worth the short journey on metro.More
This place is out of the centre but worth the trip. The food is superb and the service friendly. Reservation is recommended.
We visited this restaurant with my wife. Place was easy to access with metro and short walk. Restaurant has very friendly staff and excellent food and also nice atmosphere. Definitely best place to eat in Prague.
RINCONCITO RESTAURANT . Great service and delicious food. Had crema de malanga, chicharron de pollo , arroz, black beans. All delicious.
I visited Praha since 1984. Food was and is always fine, here, but today at "Pepř A Sůl" I had the best food ever. I shure will come back soon.
A really nice and good experience! We had a lot of very good food in Prague, this restaurant was voted by husband and son as the best choice. It’s cozy, it’s relaxed and outside the city with all its crowds. The food is authentic, delicious...and made with love as we found. The prices are absolutely fair and we felt welcome as guests. Our son‘s steak was voted by him as no 1 in terms if taste and softness of all the many steaks he had in Prague (in all kind of price range). ;) We absolutely recommend to go there.More
We read the Tripadvisor reviews, had a car in Prague, and so made the 15 minute drive out to Prague 9 on a cold December night. Parked right outside... Mirek handed me a 50Kč for the meter as I had not yet changed money. From...that moment on we were in Mirek's hands. We simply took his every recommendation and were blown away. It might seem impossible for four people to order at a restaurant and for every single dish to be "the best" but that was what improbably happened: the assorted starters was the best of everything; the roasted duck "the best", the braised rabbit "the best", the veal cheeks and lamb knuckle, each "the best". No one at the table had "order envy" because everyone hit the jackpot. Topped off with cinnamon pancakes with blueberries and sour cream, it was the perfect meal. Thank you Mirek (and Petr). Memories of Prague will always begin with Pepř a Sůl.More
Had dinner here on Friday night. The restaurant is attractive, the staff welcoming and the food simply delicious. As there were four of us we had quite a bit of the menu - foie gras creme brûlée, goats cheese and beetroot, lamb, veal cheek, rabbit,...spatzle, pancake with blueberries and sour cream. It was all really lovely as was the bread served with it. It's a bit of a way from the main town but definitely worth the journey.More
Great full all around from starters to desserts, plus a great selection of wines. Love this place, a cosy and warm atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
Superb food, service and ambience. Would highly recommend to anyone, little bit out of the centre but worth a visit
