Easy to miss the antrance.
Recommendation of waiter for something typical Czech:
garlic soup - Very salty, watery not Good
Knee of pig - just simply roasted, not wow
Borsch soup - tasty
Goulash - five small pieces of meat in dark, heavy, gravy...with kind of white bread- not Good
Maincourse is coming without any salat, potatos, you have to order separately.

I am originally from Pilsen, but I have been living abroad for last 8 years. I like coming back to my favorite Pilsen pubs. I was very disappointed this time. My fiance and I ordered the same meal - the roasted pork knuckle (as we...usually do on our trips to Pilsen). The meat was so salty, that it was not edible. All our family around the table tried as we could not believe it. We told the waitress and she said we can order something different instead. This time we went for pork medallions with mushroom sauce. The meal came absolutely covered in huge crystals of salt. I tried to be brave and had a few mouth fulls. Again, it was not edible due to salt crystals cracking between my teeth. One would think that if a guest sends back their meal for being too salty, they would pay attention to the second meal. My father's tartar steak was disappointing too. The meat quality and taste were rather sad. The chef came out, apologized and said it was due to new kitchen staff.
Having said that, the beer is still great!
It is a shame but I cannot imagine coming back in next few years to come.More
Though you won't be able to read the "newspaper" in the pub, talking about how a camel got onto Pilsen's coat of arms, you'll probably get a good service and great food. The prices are definitely one of the higher ones in Pilsen. The pub...is located in a what looks like a cellar which makes for a unique look and feel. The biggest downside is that it's a smoking pub.More
Tip from a friend from Pilsen. Good location in the city center, good prices. Food is good, but depens what you order - something is quite boring and something is amazing. but in general good dishes for good price. Don't miss the garden upstairs as...we did.More
One of few restaurants in the city centre which are open late. Find the door on America Street and walk down a few steps into the basement. That's where this restaurant is. The meals are good. You can try a Czech specialty called Tatarak here...(raw beef with spices and bread). The waiters are generally friendly. This place's biggest plus is its opening hours.More
