The best restaurant in Pilsen with super delicious food! We were in Pilsen for four days and we ate at zumbera for three times! Twice for dinner and once for lunch. We were always happy with the food and the portion is really big! Usually...we don’t like the dumplings so much but here we love the bacon dumplings!!! This was our favorite restaurant in Pilsen, we went a few times. Consistently good food, especially the pork leg is very good. Very nice service. This place is close to a 5 but it is missing the special something for it. I would come here...anytime again though, csn absolutely recommend ir for traditional local food. Inexpensive.More
At night it is very busy in the restaurants. Also in Zumbera. But no problem. The staff is friendly and finds a table for you. Even glutenfree was no problem

We found Restaurant Zumbera a great place for a traditional Czech lunch. They had 5 daily specials plus a full menu. Lunch specials were a little over 100 ckz.
The smoke pork ribs in plum sauce were amazing! Chicken in mushroom ragout excellent. Great beer, helpful service. Recommended!
We have gone to Žumbera many times. We have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The prices make it easy to go often. The menu is in Czech, English and German, and though most don't speak English, pointing at your desired selection...always works. Today, a waitress who waits on us often, helped me pronounce the dish I wanted. When the weather's nice, there is a cozy garden area in the back.More
The waitress we had wasn’t shy on showing us how inpatient she was with some of the question about the menu. So, be sure your speak a little czech maybe that would have help with the attitude we received. I got the duck my friends...got the goulash and breaded pork. All dish were inexpensive (8$-10$) and good, we also received a bowl of fresh fried potato chips that was amazing!More
Good food, absolutely great prices. First course, main course, dessert and three pints on tap, 18€. Can’t beat that easily.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Plzeň. The food is great, the staff is helpful, the prices are reasonable and the locals eat here. The menu is in Czech, German and English. Don't expect the staff to speak much English but don't let...that bother you. We have never had a problémy getting what we want. We found this place ba accident amd decided to have lunch here. They have a day menu with 3-4 different meals as well as the normal menue. We were actually the only tourists at that time. Nevertheless it was full of locals which is always...a good sign. Wee like the food a lot and the staff was friendly. They have a little backyard that I can recommend when the weather allows it.More
We didn't book in advance but they find us a table sharing with another couple. The staff was friendly and spoke German to us with no problem. The menu was in German, English and Check so ordering was quite easy. The appetizers and main dish...were super delicious and the portions generous. Super recommendableMore
Local food is great and leaves only good impressions. One of the few places in the city where one can have Velkopopovicky Kozel. Absolutely recommended!
Location was central and spacious seating. Very nice staff, can't say it to much. The food is highly recommended, much too choose from, big portions and very cheep.
Reasonable prices, good food, nice service. Simple beerhall style. Was here with four friends. Recommended.
