The restaurant is very nice inside however the toilets were s bit messy. The food was alright, there was nothing special about it but it wasn’t horrible, a little overpriced though. The service was great.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant when visiting Pilsen Czech Republic. Went to the Christmas market here as it is a nice one and a lot less busy then in Prague. Prague Christmas market is crazy with the crowds. This restaurant has very nice seating...and good wait staff. They speak English and have English menus. My wife had the duck and they have very good duck in Czech. I had the goulash with dumplings. I usually like the Czech goulash but the beef here is a little tough as Czech beef is not as good as in the U.S. I usually like the Czech bread dumplings but this restaurant makes them differently. My wife liked them but I was not crazy about them. My wife did like her potato dumplings and shared with me. The strawberry and pumpkin hot tea was very good. The wait was not long for the food and they don't rush you in Czech restaurants. Clean bathrooms downstairs. Very nice place. no smoking in Czech restaurants now.....More
i love going there anytime... Meals are very good, definetely 9 out of 10. Never ovesalted which is great. Some meals are a little dry but very tasty anyways. Staff is friendly but I cut one point down for fake smiles. They are helpful, nice...(especially men staff) but waitresses are mostly not happy and their smile is fake.More
we had to wait for 30 minutes for a meal from kids' menu: we asked it to be wrapped right away as my daughter never eats all her food, we normally ask for to go wrap anyway. The potatoes with grilled chicken were overly salted...- whereas for a kid I would expect it to be under salted or not salted at all. So the kid didn't eat much of eat, and it even seemed that they salted it so much to cover a non-fresh taste.
The chicken was very salty on the outside, too, but from a fresh meat and quite soft.More
We had a lunch there on Saturday. The place looked great, the food was excellent, but the best thing about the place was the staff - very friendly and helpful. Do not be afraid to ask about the menu, drinks, Pilsen, etc.
Great place for a business dinner. I think that all the waters and waitresses speak 2 or 3 languages and are highly educated. The quality of the food is very good.
Only one negative point: There is no air-conditioning. So, on hot days it might...be uncomfortable to eat inside.More
I enjoyed the atmosphere that satisfies not only my sense of taste, but also compliments other senses. I enjoy soft music, the touch of soft chairs, and the aroma of a well prepared kitchen. A beautiful view can so enhance the dining experience, satisfying our...sense of beauty as we satisfy our tongue's sense of taste.
Indeed, a dinner at this restaurant must be a treat and I wish someday I would dine again....More
Potrefena Husa is a nice place to have a tasty meal with friends. It has plenty of of tables and comfortable chairs, so you can choose where to sit according to the occasion and number of people. The decoration fits the type of restaurant and...food. On the other hand, Potrefena Husa has a huge problem... The employees are not friendly. Even more, I've been there countless times, and sometimes they were even impolite and mannerless. As I said, Potrefena Husa is a really pleasant restaurant, one of the best to have dinner with friends when in Plzen, but if you want to be sure you will be treated with good education, think twice before entering.More
