The Na Parkánu tap-room is named after its position by the town walls - parkány. It is designed in the spirit of the golden age of the Plzeň hostelry trade – the 1920s. The tap-room is directly linked with the Brewery Museum – so the beer pumped in the tap-room is also an exhibit in its own way. This all goes to create a lovely atmosphere designed to satisfy visitors’ appetites for the real beer experience. We were here after visiting the beer museum and the catacombs and had lunch. We were lucky to get a seat, as many tables were reserved from 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. We both had a Caesar salad (one with chicken and one with salmon) with a herb baguette. The food was very good and the portions were sufficient. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was really quaint. If you want to eat here with several people, you should definitely make a reservation in advance.

Nice Czech-style restaurant in the center of Plzen, great food , delicious meat cooked to perfection, hearty dishes and great prices. A smile from the waitresses wouldn't hurt. Highly recommended

Very popular. Either go early or late or try to make a reservation. Typical Czech food. Lively atmosphere. Busy staff but accommodating. Again, this is the only place in Pilsen that serves the unfiltered version of Pilsner Urquell. Definitely worth a try.

Pleasant brewery with weaknesses in the food. We were greeted in a friendly manner by a young lady. We ordered Pilsner Urquell as well as a knuckle of pork and confit duck leg. The food came extremely quickly. Unfortunately, the duck leg was not tender and juicy everywhere, which is what confit should be. I think it was reheated at a high heat and so the juiciness was gone in some corners. The skin, if it was crispy at all, was sloppy due to the sauce poured over it. The red cabbage was good and the duet of dumplings was solid. The sauce was also tasty. Unfortunately, the knuckle of pork was dry and very mildly seasoned; I had imagined the rind to be crispier. Perhaps something could be changed to get a great crispy rind. The sauerkraut was rather cold and very sour. But it formed a good balance with the fat. The waitress also pointed this out, which was very positive. I then had homemade potato chips with garlic and Asian sweet and sour sauce. The potato chips were really tasty and the garlic dip (I didn't try the sweet and sour sauce either) but you know it). Maybe the potato chips are a little expensive for Pilsen. It's just potatoes. But otherwise you get decent portions for your money.
But I particularly like the friendly young lady who dealt with my criticism in a more than professional manner and was always very quick and extremely friendly. Unfortunately, you rarely see that in restaurants these days.
All in all, the snacks are really good and the main courses had weaknesses for me. But it's just a matter of taste. There is definitely potential for improvement and they should focus a little on improving the quality of the preparation. Because these are just small things that don't jeopardize the processes.
I would visit the establishment again for a beer and snacks anytime.
And once again, big praise to the young lady with the long brown hair from the evening service on 01/01/24. She is worth her weight in gold!

After tasting the unfiltered Pilsner Urquell during the brewery tour, we headed straight to Senk Na Parkanu so that the one person in our group who skipped the brewery could try this yummy golden elixir. We ordered a meet/cheese plate, some Spicy Toasts and some wings and it was all perfect to go with our beers. Very tasty snacks and perfect beer (apparently you can only get the unfiltered beer at the brewery and HERE (or at least those are the only two places to get it anytime you want). Very friendly staff and perfect brewery vibe --- reminded me of all my german brewery times in the 90s.

We visit with a group of people from work regulary at least twice a year already 10 years and yesterday it was last time. While paying we found out they charged us 10 more beers than we drank. The solution to this situation was also very unpleasant. Even other departing guests testified to us that it is quite common here for guests to be robbed. We sure never come again!

The steak I ordered was delicious and the unfiltered beer is amazing. The serve was overall good and quick, just one waitress didn't understand my order and brought me the wrong beer, but it was still good beer so I didn't complain. The vibe feels pretty Czeck, there is a nice external area. It's very well located inside the museum.

The food was great. We also loved the vegetarian selection. The neck was super tender and the portions large. The beer was inexpensive and the atmosphere was very good. The interior was very quaint. Typical beer cellar. There were also many Czechs among the visitors also speaks for the quality.

Top find with excellent service. I made an online reservation but chose the wrong date. They were happy to seat us, but we could ‘only’ stay three hours. It was a very local experience. The food was delicious, we ordered a bunch of their appetizers. Beer, pretzels, and the best home made mustard. Incredible.

We dropped in here originally to get our complementary beers after visiting the attached brewery museum. We of course stayed, the marketing ploy having worked and spent a long leisurely afternoon in the beer garden at the rear. Good food, great service & Pilsener Urquell!

Had drinks and snacks at this restaurant across the street from the Courtyard by Marriott hotel. Excellent service. Very tasty chips with two kinds of dipping sauce......street parking. Clean bathrooms. Good service. Great Pilsner Urquel draft beer. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

We visited around noon. We were in town for a walking tour, then heading to Nuremberg to start a river cruise. The restaurant was not busy. We were greeted right away, and sat in the covered porch area. It was really nice. We had goulash soup, along with dark beer. The soup was delicious. And the dark beer was very tasty. We were treated very well during our visit. We had a nice time, and would certainly return.

Yeah, it was OK. 3 out of 5 is probably a little tough, but 4 seems too generous. It was OK. I was hoping for a little more with the overall TA score. Football was being shown & the food was kind of on the pubby side rather than a restaurant, but solid enough. Price & portions were OK. Sorry to say ‘OK’ so much; but it’s pretty accurate, come & see if you want to agree.
