Fabulous beer but only average food. The food comment is based upon only one dish (pork schnitzel) which was ok but nothing special. On the contrary, the draught beer fresh and was of a really high standard. Inexpensive and good service. Outdoor seating. I had to wait a few minutes for a table (on a Saturday evening). I would happily return and give the food another chance.

We had lunch here recently. Excellent Pilsen Urquell tank and authentic Czech cuisine at all hours. We arrived at 3.30 and they served us without problems. Excellent cutlet fried to perfection. Delicious and tender goulash. Prices in the Czech average

Very friendly service and a nice outdoor seating street terrace. Food was also very good,seamed typical, and at nice prices. I had a pleasant lunch meal there and would repeat if I return to Plzen.

This restaurant came highly recommended and good reviews here too. Totally disappointing! The food was mediocre, the selection was limited and the service was rude! When we asked for English menus our server rolled her eyes and tossed them on the table. No smile, no real good greeting …she was friendly with the locals so it was us. I didn’t feel welcomed or wanted. the only thing that was good was the beer! Will never come back!

We ordered 2 duck legs, but when one of us wanted to change the order because he had overlooked the daily menu, the lady refused saying that I was already preparing the duck in the kitchen. Enough of the change took place within a minute of the order, and the item on the daily change (steak) was more expensive than anything else, so it was purely a matter of reluctance. The duck could not be cut, we had never really eaten harder and after the meal they made fun of the fact that our fingers were tired. I won't even mention the dumpling. When we gave feedback to the nice waiter, he wanted to cancel our meal right away, but the kitchen didn't like it and we got a ridiculous 10% discount :) They said we ate too much... Well, yes, we were hungry and after the first refusal, we didn't want to make trouble.

This place was the best meal we had in Pilsen and i wish we had tried it sooner as we would have gone there again (it was on my list ,but I tried one across the street (which was good) and others, but this was the overall best.
The pork knuckle was huge, cooked just right, crunchy skin, moist inside and absolutely wonderful. So much food i could not eat all the sides that came with it.
Chicken schnitzel was perfect as well, tender and tasty. We were able to sit outside on what was a warm evening. Wonderful setting. Service was top notch . We spent about $30 for the two of us including beer.
Highly recommend, and get the pork knuckle. You wont be sorry….or hungry.

Very nice well maintained restaurant in the center of Pilsen (pedestrian zone). The kitchen is predominantly local and plentiful. Priced slightly upscale, but by no means unjustified. The service is outstanding.
