Smiles & Great Food in Pilsen!

We had the very best time at this restaurant! From the moment we arrived we were treated with smiles and hospitality! We were greeted at the door by the tapmaster, Marek. He had only smiles and was so gracious showing us how to properly draft beer. Thank you, Marek for the mini lesson! You are a PRO! Dominik, our waiter, was a class act! He was well poised and so professional. We could not have expected more from the staff or the kitchen. Our food was fantastic! We are a party of 6 adults traveling throughout Europe. This place is a gem. Do not overlook it if you are in Pilsen!

You must visit Lekarna restaurant while in Plzen.

Fabulous food, even better service! Loved loved loved this restaurant. It was a unique experience. Great sausages, pastrami, warm pretzels, cheese & bread. We all had local beer and wine. All fabulous. The best was the awesome staff who were so friendly and professional. We hope we will be back some day! Special thanks to our waiter Dominik and tapmaster Marek.

A fantastic place, which we unfortuneately found too late under our stay in Plzn. We had the best meal ever during the 2 weeks we spent in the Czech Republic. The service was in top, friendly people. Unfortunately, we could not eat us through the whole menucard in one visit. We would have loved to.

Good food, good service. Everything you could ask for in a pleasant dining experience. Some Austrian and some Czech inspired choices. English menus and helpful, friendly staff.

Horrible experience

We visited this place due to Tripadvisor recommendations, but we had a horrible experience. We were traveling through Europe, so we brought our luggage, since it was our last day in Plzen. One of the workers, according to us, she was the administrator, denied us service, but a waitress offered us beer, we obviously accepted, we tried to order a coffee, and the administrator yelled that it couldn't be done, then she scolded the person who served us , to the point of leaving her crying. He looked at us as if we were rats. Finally he kicked us out of the place, with the excuse that they had already closed, but at the same time he continued bringing beers to other tables. The worst experience of our lives.

Great place to be

We arrived in a raining night with no reservation and although it was fully booked they made space for us. The most amazing chicken and pork!!! Delicious! Great beer 🍻! Kind and helpful staff!

Fabulous little find with friendly service and amazing beer and food. The pickled sausage was unreal and I can highly recommend the pancakes. Brilliant view and fab prices.

Superb beer

Visited quickly with my mum for couple of beers and absolutely fab garlic and cheese soup. Exceptional pilsner Urquell on draft! Will most definitely go again when in the city next time.

Faster then a fast food chain restaurant

We ordered the fish and the veal wiener snitzel. They tasted good but not really special. Both don't impress really. Waitresses also don't impress. They are not really friendly and kinda rushed. The veal snitzel supposed to be with potatoes salad but it came with cucumber salad. And then the speed. Lightning fast.. We had our food in 5 minutes. Just took one sip of the drinks. For me it was to fast. Rather expensive for the experience and the service. Restaurant does looks really nice.

Very nice pub, very loud also

As we were told by locals this is THE place to go, we went. It's a really nice and enjoyable place, very good food, friendly service, and the beer is, of course, excellent. It is very crowdy, however, and you might sit very close to a big table of very loud people, making even conversation difficult. If conversation is not your primary aim, perfect. If it is, you might think twice.
