We had great V60, tasty food and took some cakes to go. Cafe is near the center of the city. Pleasant environment with friendly service :)

What a friendly spot in Liberec! In short: friendly waitress, amazing breakfast, great coffee. Highly recommended!
I have heard that I can find amazing coffee, great breakfast and snacks here. It is true! There is also very kind and friendly staff. I really like free bottle of water, that should be everywhere. Great prices btw!
My wife and two kids (3 and 6) visited Mikyna for the second time today during our stay in the Czech Republic this year and both times were a pleasant break from the local cuisine. The service was pleasant and professional. The food was fresh,...healthy and delicious. The dinning area was bright, but soothing and the place has an over all relaxing, positive vibe. We will certainly be back again next year.More
I was here this friday with a gf. Awesome experience - Cozy well designed interior, nice waitress, good prices for a quality. Food was awesome, literally best pumpkin soup i had. Also drinks and cakes were great. Will come back here soon!
I always appreciate when I can taste a localy roasted coffee - in this case Nordbeans straight from Liberec. We also had a cake, delicious one. Place like no other in Liberec.
We learned about this "bistro" when we were looking for a breakfast place in Liberec. Strangely this place opens at 9 a.m. which is quite late for breakfast and even at 10 a.m. on Sundays. What we did not know in advance is that this...place is meet-free which at the end was less bothering than we thought. All meals we had (we came twice) were tasty and nicely presented. I want to believe that all was prepared from fresh ingredients too. :-) What I did not like was the speed of service on the first visit. I understand that youngsters that frequent this restaurant are usually students and have not book who looks at watch but it may be different for other guests. We ordered bread with spread that was on display in cooler still it took long minutes before we were served. I do not get this. You can delay dinner or brunch but you should hurry up with breakfast and business lunch. Serving staff is not the party that chooses the pace, it must always be guest - he/she may not have much time and the service should read clues and adjust. Prices are quite high for such place that operates in very basic conditions. I want to believe that staff is paid very well, the place is expensive to rent and all ingredients are super-duper organic from farmers high in mountains or shipped from fair trade supplier for third world. I would not come every day or even every week for such prices if I were local.More
Great casual spot nearby the town centre, I usually end up here whenever I want quick lunch or not so ordinary cake. Friendly service, reasonable prices, everything is fresh and yummy.
The place is little bit hidden from the city center but it is worth visiting. They serve good coffee but the desserts were the best thing in this place. I have not eaten such a great cheesecake before.
First thing Is the hot chocolate is amazing, strongly recommend it. Overall very comfortable, friendly staff that spoke English. Simple, but effective menu that is healthy and all vegetarian. Great for lunch.
Interesting interier, delicious food, coffee and homemade limonades. Every dish is tuned of taste, amazing combination of ingredients. Very kind stuff and service. I love their granola and soups, also brunches.
An awesome vegetarian bistro/coffee shop I'd like to run myself if I had the courage! Everything tastes divine and looks like in a top style magazine. This is where you should bring a carnivore to show him that meatless cuisine does not need to be...dull at all. Endless clever combinations of legumes, grains and veggies, great bread, flawless desserts, decent coffee. Carefully selected recipes, high quality ingredients, cute tableware. Open every day, ready to serve you breakfast, a light lunch or a picture-perfect dessert. The best part is the quality level which has been up like this for more than a year and there's not a single sign of compromise.More
Mikyna prides itself on mouthwatering cakes and homemade dishes. Its whitewashed walls and simple design sets the tone for some comfortable sipping and slurping their range of soups and freshly ground coffee. The Ethiopian coffee on offer is without doubt the star of the show....In accordance with their philosophy management don't change the coffee due to the idea that knowing how to prepare one well, is quite enough. The pumpkin soup was thick and creamy, seasoned with sliced apple and chestnuts; a perfect antidote for a nippy Bohemian winter. For 45 CZK the dish was nothing but good value and healthy. The café sells chlebíčky (traditional Czech open sandwiches), with toppings such as egg mayo or cream cheese and chive. It is all too easy to devour these small yet scrumptious delights in the matter of a minute at 25 CZK a piece. Mikyna, which can seat approximately 30 people, gets busy during weekends and draws a crowd of mainly locals all ages. Staff are happy to speak English and provide a good level of customer service.More
Very cute and bright place, worth visiting. The espresso needs a lot of development though. Menu only in Czech
Nice place to eat vegan / vegeterian food, homemade cakes and the prices are not high. Nice atmosphere.
