Saturday afternoon the pizzeria was full of people, we were 5. We waited 15 minutes for menu, then 20 minutes for beverages. Only two cooks were working there, one baking pizza, one cooking other meals. We only got food in an hour and 20 minutes...after we arrived. Pizza was fine, gnocchi with a lightly burned taste made of semi-finished pasta (not home-made like before), Bosnian salad with chicken was ok. After the meal we waited 15 minutes for the bill. We come here every 6 month or so and it was always decent or a little bit slower, but today it was a big disappointment. No tip today...More

Frankly, I don’t know what to think. Being recommended to visit this place, we managed a family reunion at what’s been once recognized as a good pizza place. Perhaps owner is someone else than before, now from Bosnia or former Yugoslavia as we were told....Also, menu is now with Bosnian specialities. With no offense at all, meals were just average quality, I’d say a coast buffet style. But prices on the menu are rather higher for what you gonna finally get. Although not crowded at all on Saturday afternoon(?), the place was a bit noisy and incredibly cold (come on, it’s only zero Celsius outside!). After all, the only reason for what to come here again intentionally, would be the huge kids corner.More

Outside it looks not very good, but inside a large pizzeria with good cuisine and alcohol at a reasonable price. In pizza a delicious filling, but medium quality dough. Pizza is huge.

Maškovka is a great place for family celebrations or just Sunday lunch. Pizzas are home made and taste really well.

It has never happend to me such a bad experience in Liberec restauratnt. I had to wait over 1 hour for the dinner and they brought me absoluletlly different Risoto 'Verde' than its written on the menu. So I returned back to told them there...is no mushrooms and it supposed to be green, the taste was terrible. The price didnt match the quality. After they brought me back again with mushrooms but still the same taste and red 'verde' colour. I excused and didnt want to pay anything as between this ' story' they served me ruined wine and you have to wait ages to order some drinks. Anyway at the end the owner came to me and started to screaming at me that I WILL pay the Risoto and He didnt care what I want but I HAVE TO pay because I ordered it and They cooked it so I WILL take the Risoto and bring to my Mum If I dont want to eat and If I dont agree with it He will call the police. What a behaviour?? Whats the level of the restaurant ? Never ever again. Please be careful here and If you dont have any other option better to order pizza and just go. PeaceMore

Went there with my girlfriend. The pizzas are big, we can't finish it all, but the ingredients on it are cheap also.. no mozzarella, it is edam cheese ! So, if you don't want to spend a lot, go there, but if you love pizzas,...don't go there. I like the review who said "sumo wrestler", it summarizes all..More

This is to Italian pizza what sumo wrestler is to classical dance. The pizzas are big, heavy and fatty. The quantity without the quality and the taste. Too large menu to have fresh ingredients and well prepared dishes.

The owner is a friendly and talkative guy. After reconstruction the restaurant took a new breath, it is pretty cozy. If you go, taste pizza and make sure you see that dude preparing it. Great show!! Pizzas are super large, usually 1 for 2 is...enough. I've never had better pizza in the Czech R. Very delicious, strongly recommended.More

Went here for lunch, its a short walk from the square but you need to look for it. On the face of it not the most enticing place, a bit rough around the edges. What made up for it was the food and the service....Had the lunch menu, soup followed by a mains of rabbit and one of meat loaf along with beer from the tap. The waiter was very helpful and service was just right. We liked it so went back in the evening for a pizza and salad, we had seen the pizzas being made at lunchtime and they looked good. The pizzas are made by the main man in a wood fired pizza oven in the centre of the restaurant, what can we say we have eaten pizzas far and wide and this was right up there at the top, just how a pizza should be, rustic tasty and cooked to perfection, oh and salad was good as well. Would highly recommend for the food and service, this isn't fine dining just good honest freshly made food.More
