Busy and popular restaurant; visited for lunch as a group of 6 adults and 3 children and were lucky to get a table, so would recommend reserving. Food was good, service warm and friendly too. One thing to note is considering the number of covers...(it’s a big place) the toilets are small so be prepared to queue :) Would happily go back if visiting Kutna Hora again.More

Our tour group of 14 reserved tables here for lunch. A hearty meal was needed after hours of walking. The staff were super, the food and beer was amazing . The owner welcomed everyone and explained to one person about his 5 beer selection.

My husband and me have known restaurant Dacicky for many years. When we are in Kutna Hora, we always go for lunch there and it is always a great experience. Today has been no exception. I had dill sauce with hard boiled eggs and bread...dumplings. The meal was excellent and also was the dark beer(Mikulas 12° Dark Lager). If you want to experience a really good Czech cuisine and our beer, I can strongly recommend to visit this place.More

Our second visit in two years and just as wonderful as before. In this small town, this restaurant makes your stay memorable. We got 3 local specialties that turned out to be our favorite meal in the Czech Republic. We had a time limit that...was mentioned to the server, and we were finished ahead of our time limit. A favorite place!More

Staff were nice and professional. Great food and beer. Beautiful terrace outside with grow up trees around. Reservation is necessary especially in the evening.

We are a familly that appreciate good food but were pleasantly surprised here. Cozy place with great local food..Kind and fast service. Duck is not easy dish but they nailed it perfect. Even children menu was spot on and perfectly cooked.

Came here to try Czech food, and was not disappointed! We (a family of four) tried the beef, the schnitzel, the turkey and the wild boar. Everything was really good, and the plum jam filled potatoes that accompanied the turkey tasted like pure heaven. Atmosphere...was relaxed and cozy, and staff was attentive and service-minded. Highly recommended!More

As an American in a short trip through middle/ Eastern Europe I have tried several variations of Goulash. The wild boar goulash with bread/gingerbread dumplings will forever be my gold standard for goulash. The meat was flavorful and tender swimming in a slightly spicy gravy....The dumplings added a slightly sweet and contrasting flavor which complemented the meat and gravy perfectly. The staff were quit friendly and the atmosphere cozy but it is the goulash I will remember long after I am home.More

interesting building, very cozy atmosphere, maybe too many people (groups) eating lunch, but the staff was friendly and the food good and inexpensive.

The fire was warm, the beer cold and frothy, the svíčková na smetaně absolutely delicious. Possibly the best meal I had in the Czech Republic. The pub is on a side street, so it's a little hidden from view, but not much of a detour...from the city center. They offer good local beer and good Czech dishes, at honest Czech prices.More

We stumbled upon the restaurant on a day trip to the city. As soon as we entered through the old heavy wooden door the atmosphere excited us. Heavy wooden benches, paintings on the walls, a chandelier hanging from the roof and a big stone fireplace,...added to the environment. The plate portions where big enough, the beer was cold and the food tasted, delicious. The staff was super helpful, they spoke basic English, but it wasn't hard to communicate. Definitely value for money, if you take under consideration the medieval touch it leaves to the visitor. Will visit againMore
