Stopped here while biking in Sumava National park in Czech Republic. Wonderful restaurant. Lots of picnic tsbles so not do comfortable. Umberellas over table. Clean bathrooms. Took an hour to get our food. They have their own beer and it was ok. Will return. Recommend.
Beer was just okay… too cold :/ and they don’t accept cards, service was poor😵💫 I’m not gonna visit it again… only positive thing is view
Very pleasant restaurant to refuel after a long walk in the region. Service was very friendly and efficient, doing its best in English. The choice of food is very attractive, hard to decide what the best selection could be. Finally, as appetizers, we ordered all...six available and shared them. The staff is obviously used to it and served them already ready to be shared. Also the main course was excellent, all of us appreciated the presentation, taste and generous portions. loved the choice. The service was very efficient, and we had here a very nice dinner. It will certainly be our choice again should we be in the region.More
Very nice ambience. The place is very popular. It was busy and full yet we didn’t wait for the service to show up and the food arrived pretty quickly (over exceeding our expectations). The portion are sound, really good size. Quality is excellent - it...was very tasty, home-made feel, no “cutting corners”. Two great soups for start, very tasty pork knuckle with coleslaw / mustard / bread, salad with turkey. I wish I had place for dessert. This is smell family brewery and I tried their India Pale Lager - very tasty - repeated the order. The service was excellent, surely they had busy agenda yet they take time to answer all your questions, advise, no rush, feel welcomed here. Excellent experience. Looking forward to come back.More

Very good food and friendly servis. A good restaurant with a very nice view to Roklansky potok and the village Modrava. The prices are a bit higher, but not overpriced and correspond to the high level of food quality.
Excellent, very very friendly, great beer. We came with the family and they were very nice. Went for a walk and then came back again for dinner.
Good local beer with different flavors. Cuisine is mostly local (Czech) and tasteful. Pleasant service.

First we arrived and sat down at a free table upstairs, where others were eating, only to be told to move downstairs (no reason given). Then, after two extremely rude and surly staff eventually took our orders, we waited an age for any food to...come out, despite explaining we wanted the dishes that were quick to make (in CZ it's common to have a distinction between faster and slower items, so this is nothing strange). They brought the food in 4 stages, each of which was wrong, and each time they argued with us, as if it was our fault they brought food we never ordered each time! They didn't accept cards, which is not unheard of, but a bit strange for a big place, and a bill of over 2000 CZK. Oh, and the lentil soup I received was a grey-blue slop full of jelly-like lumps of grey slime, like nothing I've ever seen outside of a 1950s horror movie. I literally couldn't eat it, it was like a bowl of slugs. The other peoples' food seemed pretty nice, and the beer was acceptable, if nothing special, but to be honest, I have a rule about restaurants - if you give me a bowl of slime, I don't come back to try the other dishes.More
Nice surroundings (right next to the stream) , good beer AND wine. Local cuisine - authentic, the trout was ok although it lacked seasoning.
The food is average, as the title suggests, but any other average restaurant receives the average score, 3/5. The service here is slow and the people serving you are unfriendly, probably really sad about the fact they actually still have guests, and to screw it...up even more, the prices are pretty high. We waited 20 minutes to be served, another 70 for the food, although they came once about 30 minutes into this interval to tell us they have no more of one meal we ordered, and we got another one. This truly sucks as the food itself was all right, if the service was perfect I would be happy to give them 3 or even 4 stars out of the 5 you can get, but they killed it for us.More
The location is very nice and interior is also very pleasant. During the visit, there were not many guests. Definitely in worth so taste their beer, you can get a combination of 5 different beers (of 0.1 liter). Hamburgers were fine, only waiting time is...little bit longer (eventhough that there were not many guests), but if you have enough time this cannot be an issue. Only the prices are a bit high, especially compared to other restaurants in national park Šumava.More
Visited today for late lunch. The restaurant wasn't full but we were waiting 30 mins for our food but were told before that it can last longer. Food was delicious and plus from mine view is that they serve Czech wine which I haven't found...in many places around. We didn't have any trouble with the bill, the waiter friendly offered checking the bill with him as we were bigger group ( 9 people). Cakes were also delicious ( quite big portions).More
We had a horrible experience here and know a few other people having the same independently on us. Not only terrible service (2 waiters) but also a complete rip-off as they charge nonsense (30 percent more than what you consume, waiting if you spot it)....The business model is drink, eat, pay, fast, pay more and get out. Beers is good but totally not worthy. IGNORE THIS BUSINESS if you dont want to be their next victim. The owner shoukd fire the waiters and hire and train new ones so the place will be safe to visit.More
