Welcome to our new Oysterium Wine & Oyster Bar (Karlovy Vary) opened in July 2018. We serve only fresh Oysters au naturel on ice with a piece of lemon, fresh white bread and tiny butter pieces. Enjoy our Oyster sets with wide selection of French, Spanish, or Czech wines, as well as with icy vodka or becherovka shots. Tasty wine snacks such as cheese plate, prosciutto, olives, and sun-dried tomatoes are available for wine lovers preferring traditional cuisine. We celebrated my birthday in this wonderful establishment. The restaurant is colorful, atmospheric and very cute. First experience, first taste of oysters, my dream came true. Paradisaic delight. We were treated to the highest class! The owner of the restaurant prepared us a wonderful, delicious set of different varieties of oysters, and gave us a short excursion on how to properly consume this pleasure. We also received oysters as a gift, and becherevka, so to speak, “on the move.”
If you haven’t been to this restaurant, then you haven’t been to Karlovy Vary, I don’t just recommend, but insist that you visit this wonderful establishment, it’s like going to Rome and not seeing the Colosseum. The owners of the restaurant are friendly, very nice people, they made my birthday unforgettable. We will certainly come to you again and again and will recommend you further. Thank you very much!!!

We were in Karlovy Vary again last weekend and wanted to follow the many positive reviews and test the bar.
I would like to be brief, because there is no need for much explanation here.
Ambience, service, quality - all absolutely sensational!
The oysters are served in style and accurately described by the incredibly nice owner.

A fantastic discovery took place while we were visiting Karlovy Vary. One evening I decided to walk not towards the main city of Karlovy Vary but to the outskirts. To my luck I found a Seafood restaurant called: Oysterium Wine & Oyster Bar.
The Oysterium has only a few tables in the main area and then it uses a side room which has three or four additional tables.
All their Oysters are fresh and are imported from three countries: France; Netherlands and Ireland. I sampled each over the next four nights! I discovered I really enjoyed the following two Oysters: The French Claire # II and the Irish # I
Also, they had a wide selection of Czech Wines.
So, the first night I enjoyed my bottle of white wine, so I purchased the full bottle and simply kept the remainer of the wine for my next evenings visit!
Finally, the service was fast and professional, and their prices were quite reasonable.
So, if you love Oysters the way I do you must try the Oysterium, thrust me you will not be disappointed.

It was a nice discovery in central part of Karlovy Vary. From the moment we walked in we were amazed by the service and options for oysters, wine, cold cuts etc. Very cozy and unique place with tasty food. Fantastic and dedicated people who are working hard to keep this place at the top level.

We had dinner here during our stay in KV. We had been waiting this dinner since we love oysters and becouse of the good rewievs in DA. So we booked a table at 8 PM. The restaurant is small but cosy and we feld welcommed. The owner recomended three different fresh oysters and they were amazing! We also had wine and side dishes. Everything was super, but after 1 hour had pass we feld like we have been rushed to end our dinner so they can close. Time was around 8 PM, we came early for our reservation. We warent asked any dessert and they started to turn of the lights and cleaning everything away. We feld sad becouse we would have liked to enjoy our dinner fully. Why book a reservation if the time is not suitable? They could have said that 8 PM is too late and so we have come earlier. Now this left us feeling sad even tghough the food was excelent.

While on treatment in Karlovy Vary, how can the idea of enjoying oysters come to mind... Firstly because the address has been teasing me since I came here... 7 years already!
Coming down from my hotel, I discover this table... It honors the fresh oysters that arrive here from the most beautiful seas...
The tasty dozen came from Brittany, Ireland and Holland… A fresh delight…
All accompanied by wines… I hesitated to choose an Alsace :)…
As the Michelin guide is opening up to the Czech Republic, I am betting and hoping that the short and controlled menu will allow the granting of a Michelin Bib... Who knows, we might be read!

We saw the restaurant and thought it looked lovely so we went back for oysters and wine . It was a really lovely place the gentleman was very welcoming and the oysters were delicious. We also had Parma ham and olives . It was a very relaxing interlude

Germany. February 2024. Thank you for a very tasty lunch, my husband and I had a great time. A very cozy and atmospheric cafe. Nice polite staff. We were recommended a set and good wine and a very tasty cream soup. I recommend visiting. Reasonable prices and excellent quality. Everything is fresh and very tasty 👌🏼😊

I happen to love oysters and was very surprised to find an oyster restaurant in Karlovy Vary. We booked a table for a late lunch and were not disappointed. The selection of oysters was large and they were well presented and tasty. We picked a nice bootle of Riesling and that made our day. Service was very friendly and professional.

We had a delightful evening meal at this Oyster and wine bar. After having a classicly Czech lunch of fatty meat and not a lot of vegetables, we decided that a lighter evening meal was a good idea. The discovery of this small oyster bar seemed like a perfect choice to satisfy our smaller appetites.
The Oysters did not disappoint! With choices from France, Ireland and Netherlands, we ordered the classic Oysteria menu- 12 oysters with a bottle of a crisp and delicious Riesling. We also ordered a prosuitto, olives and a warm baguette. It was a very enjoyable meal with excellent service.

Great tiny Restaurant ran by a lovely couple. Location is in 10-15 minutes walk from the downtown. Suggest to take a set with a bottle of wine and various oysters.

Wide choice in oysters, from all the oyster countries in Europe and in all price categories. Even from Portugal and Ireland.
Petr the oysterman/ host is very attentive and friendly. Accompanying wine from Czech riesling was perfect. We'll be back.

Great place almost opposite the Grand Hotel Pupp. The oysters were fresh and delicious and the small garden at the back was magical and lovely. The quality of the oysters were superb and the lady who served us yesterday was knowledgeable and sympathetic. Wonderful atmosphere and inexpensive for such great quality. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Visited this cosy oyster bar with my mom. I fell in love with the French oysters immediately! Special thanks to the host Petro for his recommendation of meals and a guidance on the correct way to enjoy them. Definitely will come here again for the seafood soup for lunch 🍲

Wonderful and nice. Great oysters and super cute place! We had a nice sparkling wine, cheese platter, fines de clair oysters and olives with bread. We would highly recommend to go there while you visit Karlovy Vary
