The staff was incredibly nice, helpful and very communicative - you could tell they were interested in the satisfaction of the guests.
We couldn't miss tasting their delicious meat and must say that the steaks were really worth it! Incredible, perfectly prepared, juicy and delicious - probably the best I've ever had. And the tapas? Great combinations of flavours and delicious combinations.
I have absolutely nothing to fault. A very enjoyable experience that is well worth it.

An outstanding dinner from start to finish. It’s a little off the beaten path In Karlovy Vary. Greeted by warm, friendly staff (unusual during our time in KV). Our server patiently walked us through the menu and we stepped over to the steak cooler to get a rundown of the options.
The food was mostly excellent. We started with Iberian ham (not as good as when in Spain, but very tasty), seared shishito peppers (yum), potatoes bravo (the only “miss” of the night), a tomato salad (very nice), and warm homemade bread. For mains, we had two US ribeyes that were perfectly cooked, a Spanish ribeye that was very good, and a nicely broiled sea wolf ((European bass) filet with toasted veggies.
The food was very good, the service was excellent. Just a nice experience overall.

Mixed cold starters are really delicious than we had some some black mussles with homemade bread and octopus with potatoes. Waitress was really nice, she helped us with the choice of meals and recommended good wine. We were suprised with the options of seafood.

We have visited Sabor repeatedly in the past years, great Tapas bar in Karlovy Vary, excellent wines and exemplary staff and imaginative interior too.
During this year's visit, however, we were in for an unpleasant surprise. Great tapas moved to the basement pizzeria, together with a mix of European cuisine and daily offer menu...
So we ordered paella for two offered by the table from the nice waitress. A food was very avarage, max. two stars out of five. However it was a pan with rice, eight mussels and six shrimps... The bill for 898 crowns, i.e. 38 euros, took us a quite by surprise.
If you have a huge paella literally stuffed with seafood on the Rambla in Barcelona, you will pay about 30 euros. So Sabor a big, big disappointment today for this rice pan... The merger with the pizzeria probably indicated a qualitative direction, however, out of nostalgia, we will give them one more chance.

We were deceived by the good reviews.
What we actually wanted to eat was sold out. The waiter was very nice and recommended a few dishes to us. One of them was a steak (it was relatively expensive, just over €50) that tasted good.
I had a rocket salad (which only tasted of cumin) that I couldn't eat. The fried calamari were not crispy, but soft (they looked like they were frozen). Prawns were OK (you pay around €11-12 for 5 pieces) but rather expensive.
The restaurant also emptied very quickly and there were only two of us in the room. We had the feeling that nothing else was being eaten except pizza.
We had a rib eye steak about 300 g, potatoes, rocket salad, fried calamari, prawns, a bottle of water and cola, price just under €96.
It's a shame.
There are 100% better places to eat.
Price/performance ratio not good.

Such wonderful food should be served by a caring waiter. Our reservation was made by phone for 7pm, when we arrived. It therefore was a surprise that at 8.20pm, having enjoyed some delicious Spanish food, the music went silent and the waiter was walking around the restaurant turning off the lights.
I understand that It being the night of 23rd December, the staff would want to go home early. But when I commented on this most unfriendly act of inhospitality, I was told that the restaurant closed at 8pm.
Why was our reservation accepted for 7pm at a sophisticated restaurant without being told that we would only have one hour to enjoy our meal?
Why did it say in Google that the restaurant was scheduled to close at 10pm that evening?
Why was it not possible for the waiter to diplomatically ask us if we were ready for the bill as they were planning to close?
To cut the music and switch off lights was a depressing end to what should have been a lovely evening.
Our bill amounted to 2 700 Czech Crowns, so I would have thought we would have been treated as valued guests.
For a restaurant offering such delicious in an attractive setting, it is such a pity to be let down by insensitive, thoughtless and careless service.
I've no doubt the waiter is a decent young man, and my guess is that he was told to act as he did and lacked proper direction.
I would like to return to this otherwise-lovely restaurant, but am afraid the good cuisine will be accompanied by poor service.
Sadly, I am obliged to give this establishment an overall 'poor' rating.

My husband and I visited a Spanish restaurant that offers tapas and steaks, and we were thrilled. The food was excellent, with every bite full of authentic flavors. The tapas were varied and well-prepared, and the steaks were perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and professional, which added to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the place. The restaurant has a cozy interior that transports you straight to Spain. We will definitely return and recommend it to all lovers of good food and great ambiance.

Very overrated restaurant, they pass off less valuable cuts of meat for more valuable and expensive cuts, they bring dishes to the table on their own initiative without you ordering them and make you pay for them, they add dishes and orders to their liking in the final bill..! Extremely expensive! Really a shame because the food was also good. Not recommended!

The last place you can dine & wine in style in Karlovy Vary. Variety of tapas three times larger than many Spanish restaurants, grilled meat and fish and huge wine cellar. Nice and helpfull personel, cook who grilled my shrimps the way I like in spite it was not on the menu. Big YES again !!!

We arrived around 3pm. We were served by a lovely lady who helped us out in the big choice of tappas. Everything was tasty and food incl drinks, fresh mint tea and coffee for 1300 krones or 51 euro. Very good price quality.
Try the 36 month old jamon!

I was made welcome and had my meal on the terrace. I chose Pinchos Morunos (Spanish Pork Skewers) which came with a spicy dip-in sauce. I also chose Patatas Bravas and was given a very generous portion with plenty of (too much?) dressing. I had a glass of Montelciego wine with the meal, and a glass of sangria afterwards to just relax and take it easy.
A very pleasant dining experience.

Food great. I really liked the tapas, the cheeses were great. Only the tiramisu was awful-dry. It's just a shame that the upper part of the restaurant is closed, my friend and I originally wanted to go there. It looked beautiful on Instagram and then we were slightly disappointed. The environment is ok, but more so for the pizza. The restaurant was a bit cold and we didn't like the music. Service ok.
I understand there is no staff. I'm also a waitress so I hope the upper part of the restaurant will be found and open soon and I'll visit it a lot. :)

So far not best service, perhaps visited wrong time or not sure, but it felt like in Spain literally. Everything took so long. Starter 40min main food another 30min. Empty drinks.. Well you know may happened. Steak i have ordered was perfect but bit cold because waiting. Friend plate of fish was like at normal restaurant so a bit overpriced for quality. I won't be coming back for sure. I know way better places for overprice menu.

We spobtaneously had dinner with some friends in this restaurant. All tapas we've ordered were delicious and freshly made for us. I loved the aioli and the Sangria! We also had picanha medium rare. It was served as we had ordered it. The waitress was super friendly and spoke german, czech, englisch and italien.
For me a almost perfect evening! Highly recommended from me.

We spend in KV 3 days and came back for dinner twice. Tapas was excellent and Pizza downstairs also. Amazing service from ,,tattoo guy" and Natalie. We definetley will come back next time we visit KV. Thank you so much for great time there with you, guys!
